The color of this is also orangish-red.Other brands are green or brown powder which means there is green plant matter getting in there or the extraction process is affecting the saffron color. Their smells also aren't as pure.As for the effectiveness, it's also unmatched. It very noticeably gives a solid motivational oomph. I found Saffron from some pubmed studies comparisons to methylphenidate(Concerta, Ritalin). This feel as close to a real ADHD medication as plant extracts can get (so far).Interestingly, it can also be used to regulate sleep. I have taken before bed and it does not keep you up.
