I’m not sure why there were so many low star reviews. I think it is an excellent product especially since I saw the same one at Joann fabrics for almost $50 and received mine from Amazon for $22. It is definitely not high and or fancy, but it serves the purpose it is built for. I am happy with the purchase.

Bought this for my daughter in law to hold her embroidery project. The hoop fits in the basket very nicely, even with the project attached.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this for my wife.. and well she loves it. Here are her thoughts...This really is beautiful, its size and material are very good and it's cute. I picked the design that had the butterflies and the photo shows that the butterflies are all very prominent, but in reality, the butterflies are very delicate some are almost painted in shadows and different colors, a very nice design that I love.The basket itself feels of amazing quality, its padding is such that it almost feels like a mini chair.The inside is totally pink and covered in silk-like material with a large space for all kinds of things you want to store not just threads. In the lower part of the lid, it has a beautiful pocket and pad for needles and thread, made of the same pink silk material. Its bottom material feels like it's made of wood.This is really is beautiful and large. I love it! Like the overall design - the butterfly pattern and soft fabric material is nice; the acrylic handle gives a nice modern touch and is useful for carrying the basket around; the acrylic tray is useful, removable and deep; the pouch is portable and useful to hold small loose sewing tools.However, this basket looks hand-crafted, parts of it cut and glued together. The bottom is a thin possible wooden board that at first thought was a removable cardboard packaging piece but it is actually stapled onto the basket. The bordering piece along the top lid feels glued on and doesn’t seem it will stay on there for a long time. The inside of the basket also looks pieced and glued in place. The bottom piece is actually not glued totally down so it pops up.The quality is not what I expected considering the brand name and price. It looks like it will work, but not for long. Didn’t work for me.

As a child I used to play in my grandmothers and moms singer sewing baskets, I was a child in the late 70’s so there wasn’t much to do…They were full of all kinds of neat buttons and ribbons and stuff. As I have grown, I have always stored my sewing stuff in plastic shoe boxes from the dollar store. Having moved a lot they last a year or 2 and need replaced.Amazon Vine had this one available and I knew I had to have it. I am a grown woman 48 years old and it was like getting a red rider BB gun… I feel all grown up. And it’s purple! My favorite color, I stored 2 plastic shoe boxes worth of notions and thread and scissors and rotary cutters with plenty of room to spare.I love love love it and it looks so much better in my closet than the ugly plastic boxes
