Great scope for the price point!
Was pleasantly surprised when I got this out and viewed the moon last night! Couldn’t believe how clear it was and the detail I could see through the scope! The tripod is a mbit cheap and I used my good camera tripod instead, but it will be okay when used as a spotting scope at the range! The phone mount takes some playing with to get a phone camera lens aligned with scopes eyepiece and if you adjust the scope zoom you have to readjust the phone or the picture will be tilted! Doesn’t matter on a moon shot but, if you are taking pictures of birds out landscape and zoom in you have to readjust!Overall I am very happy with the price and function of this scope! The mountains in the picture are about 25 miles away and looked better directly through the scope than what the picture portrays! Would recommend this scope to anyone needing a nice spotting scope at a great price!

Excellent scope though I decide to return
Until recently, all I know is binocular and telescope. Never thought there is a mid-product: spotting scope. Used mostly in hunting and bird watching, spotting scope have a magnification between 20X~70X, compared to binocular typically 8X~12X.This product is my first trial and I am stunned by the imagine quality. It is great. I have a Canon 12x36 IS binocular. Compared to it, this one has much better resolution and show much better details. Also, the price is very attractive compared to peers. After online review, I further confirm this brand is among the best budget spotting scope. The only other similar brand is Athlon. Just search the model and see the comparison videos.OK, why I still return it if it is so great. Well, it is not that it doesn't do a good job, but because I can't find a scenario that I will carry it around. Unfortunatley, I am not a hunter or bird watcher. For nature touring, I think binocular still gives better field of view (FOV) and relatively volume friendly. This one (and all its kind) requires a small tripod or put against something like a tree. It is bulky and long to a normal backpack. The only scenario I probably end of using is to look at the moon at night in my backyard. But for that purpose, I have a telescope already. Well I very much like it, I know it would sit and catch dust if I keep it.End of my story. If you need such magnification and don't mind to use tripod and bulky size, go ahead. This brand is the best of its kind. I didn't say that lightly considering the numerous times I spent on online review searching.

A good overall buy.
Great for the price. Focus take some tinkering to get perfect but is possible. Getting my I phone in line with the eye peace and was eventful, and keeping it aligned take some attention. Really zooms in great and clear even at long distances.

Great Distance 👍
So I appreciate everyone who posted pictures and did distance comparisons for me to buy this. So I decided to post my own as well. Please keep in mind that the day photos were taken when a forest fire had blown smoke into the area. The scope is very clear yet might be noticeable in the picture because of the surrounding smoke.First off I'll have to admit its a good spotting scope. BUT the 1st one I got had issues. Had a strong plastics chemical smell as others commented. The bag it came with, the scope and tripod all had this. Airing it out for 3 days didn't take care of it and I'm sensitive to smells. 2ed the cover for the big len always kept falling off. 3rd I saw what looked like glue gun gel poking out from the middle. 4th was not tightened at the middle and could be twisted on or off.So I contacted the seller. Who told me that for the smell I could either exchange it or air it out and they'll reimburse me an amount. Yet after I sent them pictures of the other issues they admitted it was likely defective and I exchanged it instead with Amazon not the seller.Honestly that fixed every thing. I recommend people who have such issues to just exchange itI know many posted that the phone holder doesn't work but honestly it works if your persistent with it. The moon pictures posted were taken using both the tripod and the mobile holder but was hard to angel it out correctly.I now find it faster to just use the tripod and my hands in holding my mobile device for pictures than the phone holder. I don't have experience with other mobile holders so can't say that another would be easier, faster or better.I have a professional large tripod and this little one does it's job for a quick pull out latch on and use. I know others commented negative about the metal quality yet does what is needed so can't complain. One issue that I've seen in both products (the returned and kept product) is the bag's separator is not able to latch on to the inside of the bag. So with both the tripod and mobile holder inside I often wondered if the separator would allow one to fall through and rub against the scope if not careful. The bag is thin. I have a similar bag type for my large tripod. Yet I feel I have to be careful as I carry or place down the bag with the scope in it. Wish there was better protection for the scope. Nevertheless that would likely mean it would be more expensive. The price is right. The scope has great distance. Seems to be more powerful than other expensive scopes I've seen but not purchased. So its a savings in price. 😁Honestly for how close I get to see the moon it really does look as good as a good sized telescope I once had. Add on camera zoom you can see it even better detail. Looks better in the scope than I feel the pictures were able to get.
