Be prepared to be inventive
I have a tall RSPB stand. Squirrels found it the first day I hung the feeder. They chewed at the metal, leaving blood! Rigged a line, used a hook and a prop to deter the squirrels - so far it is working. It was fun watching woodpeckers pecking at the plastic section as they were too big for using the pegs . They soon sussed it out.

Broken
Unfortunately the product arrived broken. The metal parts looked really sturdy but connection with the plastic appears to be a weak spot.

Poor design
The connection between the plastic top and the wire base is very poor. Constantly fell apart scattering food all around. I tried without success to contact seller through Amazon process. In end just had to dispose of it.

The suet pellets not sent..only free gift bird feeder arrived.
Very annoyed as suet pellets that I ordered have NOT arrived..only the free bird feeder.The suet pellets I need and paid for needed urgently .please send urgently

They hold the suet pellets well
For some reason the birds don't seem to want to feed from this! The other feeders attract the birds, but not this one. It isn't just because it was new but time will tell I'm sure.I may try different nibbles in it in case it is the ones I have put in rather than the feeder itself
