We have set this up as a door cam as someone kept ringing the bell after our daughter got home from school. It is very obvious and red light comes on when it is recording movement. From the moment we placed it obviously in our porch the phantom door ringer has gone.

Body CamThe instructions included are pretty good, and as it comes with a 64GB microSd card and partially charged battery you can start using it straight away. The instructions are required as their are button both sides as well as the back. The buttons have black symbols on black - so not easy to see in the dark, so remembering what does what is quite important.The camera is designed to be worn and two clips are provided, though this will prevent easy access to the menu buttons and screen on the back. It has an option to use as a dash cam but not fitting included.The main buttons to turn on and to record video, photos or audio are on the right hand side (probably makes left handed operation trickier. A small LED on the top lights when recording is in option (though menu for stealth mode).A settings menu allows you set date/time, video duration, picture quality, night vision mode etc. The menu is logical and has up/down buttons on the left hand side and an ok, back button on the rear beneath the screen (5cm diagonal). You can delete files using the menu (though when recording you can tag a video as important, and then it can't be deleted from the camera.The device appears to have some charging contacts on the bottom, but these aren't mentioned in the manual and the camera has to be charged via the USB.Overall the device was fine at recording videos, pictures and sound but when connected to a computer it failed to connect properly and none of the files were accessible. Taking the card out (not that easy as the slot is recessed next to the USB socket under a plastic plug) and using the USB reader was successful though.Camera arrives in a plain black cardboard box, camera is wrapped in plastic with screen films and in a foam insert. Accessories include two clips (1 large, 1 small), USB cable and 2 microSD USB readers. The camera was pre-fitted with a64Gb MicroSD card. 14 page instruction leaflet included

I got this because my family are actually golfers and it’s such a good way to record your swing and also others swings (with permission of course.) I can use this a whole 18 holes (4/5hrs) average per round with 2 of us and waiting on people. It holds it charge and the quality is fab although the downswing footage is slightly distorted but not much and I can pause and see if I’ve hit the sweet spot or not, it also lets me check my grip and how this changes during the swing. It’s discrete enough that know one would realise what I was doing. (There’s nosy people in golf courses) it’s not exactly how this was intended but it’s absolutely a use for it and could go for recording football practice or tennis. Outdoor trikes to capture wildlife or Bigfoot! Lol a neighbour harnessing you? Is that legal to record your neighbour? I don’t know! There’s so many uses for this. One in particular would be a cyclist to work as a dash am for bikers. It’s costly in the sense these days you can wipe out a mobile phone but for certain activities where you don’t want to be holding a phone this little camera is fantastic! It also takes candid shots and everything can be saved on memory SD cards.

Instructions are very poor.Operating system feels dated.Image quality is OK.Fiddly to operate.I don’t see how the price is justified.
