## Description

Product Description desertcart Basics Magnetic Dry Erase White Board, 36 x 24-Inch Whiteboard - Silver Aluminum Frame From the Manufacturer desertcart Basics

Review: Poor Quality Control! - Opened it up and discovered scratches and significant blemishes and dents. Nicely packaged with thick cardboard. Arrived without any damage to shipping box. Damage was obviously from the factory.
Review: Basic in the best sense, minus the flimsy pen tray - This does exactly what a whiteboard should do and doesn't pretend to be anything more. The surface is smooth, writes cleanly with the STAEDTLER markers I use, and erases without ghosting or staining. It mounted to the wall easily with the included hardware and sits flat without any wobble. The magnetic surface is handy for pinning up notes and reference cards while I'm planning things out. The aluminium frame looks clean and professional enough for a home office. At 91 by 61 centimetres, it's a good size for daily lists, brainstorming, and quick diagrams without dominating the wall. Where it loses a star: the included marker tray is genuinely flimsy. It feels like an afterthought and I ended up removing it. The bundled marker is also nothing special. Think of this as buying the board itself and supplying your own accessories. For the price, it's a solid home office whiteboard. Not fancy, not trying to be. It just does the job.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could this board be mounted to a wall with command hooks? Does anyone have a picture of the bak of the 24*36 board?**
A: I hung a 36 x 48 size dry erase board with the command strips that are the hook and loop style for hanging up picture frames. I used the medium size strips and put 2 on the top and 4 on the sides. Holds it perfectly no problem.

**Q: Can the tray for markers and eraser be moved to the shorter side, so the board can be mounted portrait style?**
A: Just bought. November 2022. Yes you can. Its a clip on style that fits any location on the perimeter of this board.

**Q: I've never not been able to return an item on amazon. a lot of the reviews say you cannot return this. is that true? where does it say that?**
A: I don't think "hazardous ink in the markers" has anything to do with it. Amazon charges a lower price for this board and therefore does not allow free returns. You will see that all Amazon products fall into 3 categories (1) Free shipping + Free returns, (2) Free shipping, and (3) Paid shipping. You cannot return category 2 or 3 items - only get replacements if they arrive damaged. I hope this clarifies the situation.

**Q: I need to turn this into a "hanging" board. I can't drill holes into my walls, can I run strings through d area were you would screw? front to back?**
A: Should be able to, it's just a small hole at each corner which could receive a string. It might not hold steady to write on it without doing something like adding some 3M command strips or something to prevent it from wobbling around.
