Oh MAN this thing is amazing. I wanted something I could cook fish with outside my home on the deck (fish smell) and this is the ticket! Heats up faster than anything I have ever tried and works great. Pan cooked fish is wonderful. Use with butter and seasonings, heat at 330 degrees. Done in 2 or 3 minutes, just amazing.

When I turned it off when cooking after 20 minutes, it would not heat again. Usually it will flash H, and in that case press the power button for a second to resume. This time, it just sat there and gave me the finger after I accidently turned it off in the middle of cooking. I had to finish my almost done burgers on the stovetop. Other than that, it works well, just remember to reduce heat the longer it cooks or else the food may burn.

Unit did not last 6 months before it started overheating and burning. Seller would not take it back and assurion warranty was usless

I was excited about this burner as an alternative to our ancient electric stovetop and an introduction to induction. It looks lovely on the counter and works great at medium to high temperatures--both fast and highly responsive!However, the lowest setting--which is supposed to be just 140 degrees--would burn or rapidly boil anything left on it for longer than a few minutes. Same with the simmer setting, making it largely unusable for my purposes. What it seems to be doing is cycling between off and a high setting. Not acceptable for any serious cook.....or even someone looking to make something as simple as rice! I had to return it.

Seems to work well although we were disappointed that it was made in China. All our other Fagor product was made in Spain. We hope the quality is still there.

Purchased this induction burner to get us through a kitchen remodel and thought we may be able to use it for holiday meals when the kitchen is complete. So happy we made the purchase! What a great addition to our kitchen arsenal! Responsive and easy to use. I’ve fallen in love with induction and only hope my 36’ cooktop is as nice as this burner!For those who have complained about boiling water, don’t use the rapid boil feature to heat the water, use the higher heat modes. Water boils lightning fast then use the boil features to maintain the temp.

best thing since sliced bread. literally, phenomenal. works in a flash, heats up quickly, many different settings, easy as pie. best best best.

Not only great looks, but works terrificly. Boils water in 4 minutes. Highly recommendable.
