Tach-It PDL-2 3" Manual Label Dispenser

I ended up returning but just because I decided in getting the bigger on. This one fits just about one roll of stickers as you can see from the pictures. And there’s nothing to hold it in place so it moves a bit when you’re pulling on the roll. The 6.5 has 2 inserts to hold the rolls and I ended up painting diff color.Overall I would still recommend if you only interested in using one roll of stickers.

The media could not be loaded.  This thing is great and just made my whole progress go faster! If anyone say anything other then that, maybe they just unlucky and got a bad one. I Love it!

This dispenser is exactly what I needed. Works like a champ!

The labels tend to come off and stick to the first roller as soon as it comes off the roll.I had to tape a liner around that roller to try and fix the problem.The rolls tend to shift side to side. You need to come up with a way to keep the roll from moving.I do not think the way they show how to feed the web is correct.The tabs were not dispensing off of the liner. I changed the way it goes around the last roller and that solved the problem.

I am sure this label dispenser works fine with ‘certain labels’. My application however, is a total bust. I am trying to dispense clear (but printed on) labels that are 2”x 2 7/8.This becomes a two handed operation where I need to exert downward pressure on the waxed paper and use a precise, controlled speed. Then, if the label begins to lift off paper while coming through the roller, I need to guide off with my other hand as so it does not cool around the metal pin above the roller. Takes 3X as long as just using my hands. With the “right labels”, perhaps this will work. For my application it’s a bust.

Labels dispense correctly MOST of the time. There have been a few occasions where it has bound up when a label has caught itself in a roller, where the roll sits on the nylon rollers. If it was built with a core holder, rather than the rollers, I would have given it 5 stars for my uses.It is still a lot nicer to use than having rolls of labels sitting on the workbench, unraveling and getting stuck to everything. It allows you to move the labels from your workbench/packing station, to a shelf when not needed.

Heavy metal construction and high quality. Drop labels in and feed through the rollers. Done!
