Wonderful Bluetooth Trackers at Great Value, Finally
I originally bought these to place in goodie bags at a Christmas party. I ended up with one left and so decided to use it. I had a Tile brand tracker on my keys that was due for replacement. Tile brand trackers require the purchase of a brand new unit when the battery dies. This was my second Tile in 18 months and I felt it was such a ridiculous waste. I was pleased to find the TrackR Pixel had a replaceable watch battery. I replaced my Tile with the TrackR Pixel.I wasn't sure what to expect since the reviews here vary wildly. The TrackR was easy to setup via the app. The configuration was quick and straightforward. My TrackR worked great as a Bluetooth tracker and is fairly priced. I decided to go ahead and get more TrackR Pixels for our remotes and tablets. With kids around, these items get lost around the house often. The TrackR securely sticks using the provided 3M double sided adhesive pad. They are also completely and easily removable. These Bluetooth TrackRs work perfectly for this scenario and we are no longer spending time searching for devices all the time. I also decided to add another to my work bag and some other items. There are straightforward settings in the app to give you a few different behaviors depending on the tracking needs of that specific unit. For Example, I have my work bag TrackR configured to aleart me should I leave it or my phone behind. There are also options for crowd locate but I haven't had to rely on that yet.The app also allows you to share your TrackRs with other accounts. This is nice so others at home can locate without me.I have 10 TrackRs all configured on the same/account phone. I am not sure if I am just lucky but I have had no trouble with setup or use. I have replaced the battery on some. Battery replacement is no issue even if you have it attached to something else. The top twists to unlock and comes off revealing the battery. You may need something to add friction to your finger to make it easier to twist the top. Length of battery life is the only concern I have left. A couple of mine needed battery replacement within 2-3 months. This initially made me worry but I got one order of these on clearance and it appeared they may have sat in stock for several months allowing the battery to deplete. I replaced the batteries and they are still showing full over 2 months later.I am very happy with these trackers and plan to stick with TrackR brand. They offer great value and don't have to be thrown away each year like with some overpriced other brands. They also meet my needs perfectly. I think some reviewers don't completely understand the nature and useage of low power Bluetooth trackers and expect something different. I do have full GPS cellular trackers for other situations. While much more expensive, I think many people need that type of a tracker for their purposes and might be want to research.

Company has stopped responding/batteries
UPDATE #2: One star. After some use the trackers started getting error messages one by one across a week. The email address the app says to contact regarding the error does not respond despite my emailing them five times across two months trying to resolve the error issues. There is no social media platform to message them on, and no phone number to contact the company. I called Amazon and even they do not have a way to contact the company. It would appear that after some time the company drops its customers and goes silent. Shame on you, TrackR.UPDATE: I took my rating down from four stars to two stars. I’ve been using these trackers for almost a year and in addition to the problems noted in my original review below, I’ve already had to order entirely new battery sets for all five trackers FOUR TIMES. I’ve also had two trackers completely die and one only sometimes works even when right next to the phone. One of the trackers went out in the noisiest of ways by sounding off constantly and without prompting. The only way to get it to stop ringing was to shut down the app, leaving me unable to track anything else until I removed the battery to silence the tracker device - it also left everyone around me laughing with pity as I tossed all contents out of my bike panniers to find and stop the incessant source of noise. To their credit, I contacted the company directly and they promptly sent replacement trackers. I’m fairly certain a third one will need to be replaced soon.Ordering the free replacement batteries through the app is inefficient; it asks if you want to save your info for more speedy checkout next time but it never saves. I have to keep re-entering all of my info for every individual battery. There is no option to order more than one battery at a time, even though I’ve found they all burn out at about the same time and prompt you to order new batteries. Sometimes the app freezes up when trying to order a battery replacement. Further, when you order the replacement batteries, they each arrive in the mail in a separate envelope/mail piece, each with quite a bit of packaging. It leaves me wondering if the reason I chose this brand over competitors (the ability to be less wasteful by allowing me to change out the batteries), is actually MORE wasteful due to the sheer number of batteries used in a year on five trackers, the shipping, and the materials used in shipping. My patience is wearing thin and I find myself researching other options to track my keys, phone, and wallet. Oh and with the new tracker the company replaced on my phone when the other one died: it’s still as glitchy as the one in my original review.Original review: I needed these in my life. I researched many different options for finding my wallet and various devices and settled on this one if for no other reason than the battery being changeable. I don’t like the waste of competing brands where you have to replace the entire device rather than just the battery. I have used the set of these that I bought with some frequency as I am always misplacing my wallet and my keys. I took one star off though for the annoyance of using the TrackR to find my phone. You have to keep the TrackR app open on your phone in the background, and Bluetooth constantly on if you want to be able to find your phone. This is battery-draining on the phone. Further, you have to close and refresh the app about every two days, which of course I never remember to do. It is only when I cannot find my phone and go to page it from one of the other TrackR devices that I realize the app has timed out and my phone cannot be located using the TrackR system. I’m left with a useless TrackR on my key ring or wallet that’s just beeping that it can’t find my phone. This is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Bad design, bad execution, bad service. Do not buy.
This product is simply bad design. Not only did it arrive with dead batteries, the replacement battery feature in the app is broken - it comes in a pack of 5 pixels, and each of them have to be connected before the app can determine that the battery is dead, so if the battery is dead on arrival, there's no chance of getting a replacement for free as advertised. Plus you can't order multiple batteries even though there's no way you can buy a single trackr pixel, they only come in multiple packs. After purchasing replacement batteries, getting into the pixel to install a new battery is a mission because of the terrible design. The back is meant to twist open, but that's just a lie. There's no way for your fingers to grab on or even have any traction against the back to twist it open. After finally managing to get a new battery in, the product design is such that it doesn't let the battery touch the circuit board, so unless I squeeze the pixel really hard, it does not turn on. Overpriced, completely useless, a total waste of plastic. The idea is good, but the execution fails completely. This is like a high school product design assignment gone wrong, even the basics fail miserably. When I tried to contact the manufacturers through their website, literally no leads as to how to contact them. Do not buy this, it's basically a scam given the way it doesn't work in any aspect - product design, customer service and replacement services are all a giant fail.I never post reviews of products from Amazon, but this one fails so badly that other people must know how awful it is.

Good .. BUT
This device is good but has numerous limitations and shortcomings. First up, the signal is not 100% reliable. If your mobile phone has a limit on the number of Bluetooth devices that can be in the active register then it will not recognize some. Took me a while to figure out why a couple of TrackRs kept appearing as 'not connected'. Then there's a temperamental connection, sometimes it simply won't work. Then there's the anemic alarm tone. Then if you have the separation feature 'on' then it b becomes a pain when you switch off your phone or walk away from the TrackR. I wasn't expecting a lot, and my expectations have been fulfilled. Just glad I didn't pay the big prices some sellers were asking. And I'm convinced these will get a lot better in the future. Overall, not sorry I bought it.

Waste of time and money
Very disappointed in 'trackr "PIXEL" ' product. Batteries run out very quickly. It's near impossible to get the battery out of the device. Had to glue trackr to object(to be tracked) so I could get front off trackr to change batteries.I have used Tracker "Bravo" in the past. And found that a pretty good product

Works better in a populated area
I’m sure these would work better in a more populated area. Not what I thought
