Q: Does the zinc alloy have any chance of rusting if it get wet and not fully dried?

I can't be sure but I don't think so. I keep mine in my bathroom and the humidity from hot showers haven't made them rust at all

Q: Do these wash well? Or will they discolor aftre showering with them in your hair?

I don't really know. I took mine out for showers, but my beard wasn't that long (6") that it would be difficult to put back in daily. This said, I did get them dirty and would give them a light scrub with an old toothbrush with no problems. Hopefully this helps.

Q: What does the inside diameter measure? Would regular 550 paracord fit through it?

I don't have any calipers to measure but I do have some 550 cord and yes...you can fit them onto 550. The larger beads will be a bit loose
