Great value and performance over the original fiberglass poles
These are quality poles. Easy to cut to size and restring. They look and perform better than the original. I will eventually replace all of my tent poles with these.

Solid strength. Much better than fiberglass

True to size, replaced fiberglass dome tent poles for Coleman Sundome 6 person
I was in a bind after breaking a tent pole, and didn't want to bother with repair. I had 16 ft 3 in poles for a Coleman Sundome 6 person tent, and broke a fiberglass pole. Some of my friends warned me not to replace them with aluminum. But people in reviews posted photos of tents a lot like mine--with two cross poles holding up a dome tent--and said they had good luck with replacing the fiberglass with aluminum. I will say that it's true that the aluminum is not as flexible--so it's a little bit more of a pain to work with. But it can definitely do the job, and once they're threaded through the loops, and the clips are applied, those poles aren't going anywhere. I was nervous, because the way the original poles locked in, wouldn't work with these (at the ends where they secured to the corners on the ground), but they're so taut in the clips and loops, they aren't going to move. So it's not really an issue. Just get the ends as close to the ground as you can, and it should be fine. Also, the Sundome is being replaced by the Skydome model--which has proprietary poles with a bend in them for more wall support. It's cool, but if you break one--you'll never find a replacement (IMO). And I'm happy with my Sundome and wanted to keep it for a while--since I haven't even used it yet. For the record, the original pole broke due to my own misuse, not product defect or issue. It's a great tent, and I recommend it. Spray some Silicone on it, and you're waterproof and good to go!

A bit too flexible, but it works
Purchased to replace a broken 20-foot pole for my 6-person, 2-pole tent. Upon opening, realized that this pole was dramatically thinner in diameter than the original. I worried it wouldn't be sturdy enough to support the tent, but was pleasantly surprised when I was able to set it up. Because of it's lack of rigidity, I had to stake out the corners that this pole supports very well so that some of the structure of the tent resulted from the floor being stretched flat and tightly staked. I have to stand up the other pole in its corner grommets before standing this one up as this one doesn't hold the dome shape on its own while getting the other pole into its grommets. When taking down the tent, I have to PUSH this pole through the pole sleeve, as pulling it just makes the sections come apart. Decent pole in a pinch, but I am looking now for something thicker and sturdier. But at least this will get me through the season, and will serve as a back-up in case I break another pole later on. There is no way that two of this pole could support my tent.

Perfect Fit
Great replacement after using 3 splints on my old set. Total length of 370cm works great for my Kelty Escape 2 that has since been discontinued. Great and affordable way to double the lifespan of my tent. Packed down size is a few inches less than the originals which is going to be great for bike packing. Will follow up with how they hold up in 6 months.

Broke upon first use
Billed as a replacement for fiberglass poles. They are light weight and they won't splinter however, they cannot support the same weight structure as fiberglass poles do. Just beware and don't overtax them. After Review Update: The Seller wrote me and offered a full refund. They did not ask for a rating change although I did up it to a 5 for their polite response.

Very nice quality, more compact length
These are very nice quality. The pole sections are smaller than the originals that came with my north face tent. They allow me to pack my tent and poles inside my motorcycle panniers. They are at least as nice as the originals.

Great update for my tent
My tent originally had the fiber glass rods but these are much lighter. They were easy to store and the orange look is quite beautiful. They work well with the tent and we're an easy installation. The price was good.
