So let me start this out by saying this urn is absolutely stunning. The pictures do not do it justice. Now that being said the plaque that goes on the urn can use some work. When we purchased this urn we thought the plaque was gonna be permanently adhered to the urn but we had to put it on ourselves. The writing font could have been nicer.

This lovely hand-carved urn/box is perfect for my parents' ashes that were combined at their request. It is simply a perfect resting place. Quality and workmanship were as promised and I'm very pleased.

My sibs and I were looking for an urn or box to house my parents' ashes, as they wished to be buried together. We saw many reviews for different products and many said they were not big enough for two. This one is; my father was 6' and though my mother was only 5', there is enough room left were she a larger lady.The craftsmanship is nice; it is not exquisite artwork or anything, but a lovely carved box that will serve our purposes. My only concern is that it opens through a panel on the bottom which is thin plywood and secured by four little screws. I am actually keeping the box upside down until the interment (still looks good that way) for fear that it might give under the weight of all those ashes. But overall, very pleased. I think my folks would be too.

Our box arrived today and we couldn't be happier. It was well packaged and arrived promptly. It is beautifully carved. The bottom panel was easy to unscrew and remove and screw back on. The extra-large size can easily hold the remains of both my father and mother. For people wondering about size. Dad was a big guy and even with his ashes, there will be plenty of room for my mother when the time comes. BUT - you have to remove the cremains from the box that they are sent in and just place the plastic bag into the box. If you choose to leave the cremains in the box from the funeral home, I would say this box will only hold one large adult. The plates are kinda cheap, but were nicely and accurately engraved. I don't think I will have a difficult time finding someone to engrave the name plate for my mother at a later date to match my father. Or, you could easily have really nice plates done by a regular engraver. While the plates are cheap material, they don't have a cheap appearance.

Really great quality for the price. And does not look like an urn. The funeral home commented that we did a great job on finding the urn. The craftsmanship is amazing. This is a very nice urn and big enough for 2 people. Right now it houses my Dad, looks great on my couch table.
