Ecdysterone is one type of the many ecdysteroids found in nature and in particular ecdysterone is found in quinoa. Gives a boost, and hardens muscle but mass and weight decreased. It puts stress on the heart, so can make you feel anxious with increased heart beat.

I love the funky looking bottle that these capsules come in and logo and definitely oozes a bit of premium feel to the product.The cap is not child proof though so keep these out of children's reach.They arrive in a sealed bottle with around 2 years to the best before date and the capsules are about the size of a painkiller, easy to swallow and are tasteless.The dose is 2 capsules (a max of 6 capsules per day) with a glass of water and preferably with or after a meal. This helps to aid digestion and absorb the contents better.I take 2 just after breakfast and find a few hours later that my determination feels stronger for a good few hours, maybe this is an aggression boost or testosterone boost but I definitely feel more determination. This might even be a placebo effect to be fair but I have noticed a difference.These 500mg ecdysterone capsules are safe to use and have no toxicity to the liver or kidney according to research and aren't currently a banned substance for athletes so as long as you are not pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or on long term medication then these are fine to use. Children should not take these either.As with all supplements, check with your health care professional before use.They're suitable for vegans and the bottle is recyclable.These are relatively new to the supplement market and the verdict is still out on their potency and effectiveness, some people notice no change and hence they won't recommend them.I have noticed a difference in my attitude and determination after taking them and should imagine that either daily for work, or going to the gym that these are suitable for everyday use.At £20 at time of review for 60 capsules they are quite premiumly priced but I have seen improvements so I can recommend these.If you're looking for increased determination, attitude and aggression which leads to an increase in a workout, increasing muscle mass, strength etc etc then these are worth trying.

Great product, really works well already in the first few weeks

It's difficult to judge the effectiveness of fitness supplements which are legal and/or not on banned substances lists. Usually, the fact that the substances are banned implies that they give 'good results', aside from potential health complications etc. For example, diet pills that don't contain things like ephedrine, clenbuterol, and the like, will not give meaningful results. So as with all of these kinds of things, people should only try it if they can afford it. Let's be honest, most people who are at the level of "plateau-ing" in their bodybuilding regimen will be more likely to spend their £20 on something a little 'stronger' so to speak. People trying to build lean muscle are better off spending their money on better quality food or appropriate supplements, or on a personal trainer for an hour, in my opinion.As for this product, these pills are made in China. I'm fine with that, no issue there. Most stuff on Amazon originates from China anyway, so there's no getting away from it (again, not that it's a major issue). But the reason people are often cynical about Chinese-made stuff is the usually lax Quality Control. I do feel that these pills suffer in that respect - the label was a little dirty, and the seal had sticky fingerprints on top (inside the sealed lid!). This is not the seller's fault, but the Amazon packaging was inappropriate for the item, and as such it was very clear what was in the package.The pills taste odd. Like eating old paper or cardboard (yes, I've done it...)The price seems in line with the market as well. There are stronger dosages available, but these seem to be priced higher to compensate. Whether the addition of hydroxypropyl-beta-cyclodextrin improves bioavailability (absorbtion) is up for debate. Current research does suggest that ecdysterone should be added to banned substances lists due to alleged performance increases, which does hold promise for the potency of the product. More information to come I'm sure, but for me, these are a bit 'meh'.
