## Overview

The Zipbolt 13.810 Slipfix Rail Bolt is a patented, gear-driven fastening system designed to simplify and speed up handrail-to-newel post installation. Made from durable alloy steel, it eliminates traditional nuts and washers with an innovative open channel housing. The kit includes two rail bolts, wooden plugs, and a T30 Torx driver, enabling quick, professional-grade assembly ideal for both residential and commercial stairways.

## Description

A new product for the stair industry, the main feature of this product will be its ability for fixing a hand rail between 2 fixed posts. The Slipfix is preinstalled into both ends of the rail and retracts flush with the end grain, it is then lowered between the posts and the shafts exit and engage the keyhole discs in the posts. Once the connection is made tightening takes place using the Zipbolt gear housing as the drive system and the job is done. This Pack Contains 2 Slipfix Rail Bolts.

Tips: 1) when installing your rail, loosely tighten the starting end right away to help hold rail in place as you slant install the railing. 2) keep your first spindle from the post far enough away to allow working room to tighten the rail bolt. 3) use an excel spreadsheet to map out your spindle layout. They don’t have to be exactly the same distance apart… nobody is going to notice an 1/8 of an inch if you need to burn up some gap between posts.
