I don’t know how it works but it does!I’m a barber and I use this often on clients and they love it!It holds hair great and leaves it super soft! It’s easy to wash out and holds hair until you shampoo.Great product and excellent price!Works great! Also, goes a long way!Only use a couple sprinkles.

The way I use this product is by washing and conditioning my hair, drying it about 75% of the way, and shaking it around in my hair. I ruffle it around to my liking and then add some hold spray to keep the form. Some days it looks great... some days not so much.Pros:easy to applya little goes a long waynot hard to mend with your fingersnine times out of ten gives a solid resultCons:extremely messy, will get all over your bathroom counter unless you do it over your showerTERRIBLE to breathe when this is being applicated. Breathing in that fine powder feels awful.A little expensive, almost runs like a monthly subscriptionWhen holding spray is added, it becomes very rough to touch.Overall it works well for what it is, but could use more product in the bottle.**ALSO** washing this product completely out of your hair can be a nightmare. What I do is to use coconut shampoo and then conditioner. I find myself needing a LOT of conditioner to do this.

This not only smells amazing, but it works great on my boys hair. The texture is great. So much better that gel or pomade!

I do have to admit that this stuff does work as advertised. I do like how it holds my hair and can be manipulated by just running your fingers thru it, so that's the best part about it. The not good part of this product is that it comes in a small bottle and the bottle is not even filled up halfway when you open it. That alone bothered me and made it so I will not be buying this again. This small, less than half filled bottle cost around $10, and for that price for the small size that the bottle already is, it's should've been a full bottle, but it's not, so this is going to be a one time buy for me and not again. Too bad, cuz I like this product, but not at this price for how little you actually get.
