LG 4417EA1002Y Genuine OEM Stator Assembly for LG Washing Machines

This strator failed in my LG front loading washer for the third time. I knew what was wrong so I just ordered the same part again. Worked like a charm. This item comes with the rotation sensor attached so you need not buy that separately to troubleshoot if you're not sure which part is faulty. These are pretty easy to install: Just remove the door on the back and remove the outside bolts with a socket wrench on the faulty strator. Take care to remove the power connectors (molex style pin connects). Pull strator towards you (it's kinda heavy) and then reverse the process for your replacement strator. That's it. Symptoms: The drum would struggle to turn when washer first goes through a wash cycle. You can hear a grinding type noise where there's not enough power to rotate the drum.

LE error code with drum seamingly locked in place indicated likely stator failure. Easily replaced the stator in my LG front loader by following the instructions on YouTube's RepairClinic channel. The job took this novice less than 30mins to complete. Take special notice of the wire harness that connects to the stator; do not use any shortcuts when disconnecting or face increased job difficulty along with risk of harness damage. Also have a metric socket set on hand for this Korean product. The stator shipped from Amazon was marked 1002K (top of pic) despite being advertised as 1002Y. The part replaced was 1002Y (bottom of pic). Beyond the different marking they appeared identical. So far flawless operation after about 10 days and a dozen loads into the 1002K replacement part.

After determining it was the stator I bought this one. Not sure if it’s oem. I think it was rebuilt. The windings on this one aren’t as nice as the original. Additionally, these windings aren’t copper like the original. Works perfectly though. Good buy!

Works great. I had previously replaced the corroded cold water inlet valve, the Hall Sensor and a wiring harness before buying this, which did the trick. I had the "LE" error code on my LG washer (WM3205HRA), and the drum wasn't turning. My old stator coil assembly had corroded due to leaks from the water inlet valve solenoid, which should have been a clue from the beginning, but I hadn't watched enough Youtube videos to figure that out, though.

Had the front loader for 15 years. Finally something gave way so use it to replace it now it work fine.
