Really a great humidifier, very steady stream of mist, runs for a really long time before you need to refill and it’s pretty quiet. Great for the price. The only thing to know is that it’s not enough for a larger bedroom and definitely not for a living room. We have been using it in my husbands office space and also in the room that the cat sleeps in to keep him from getting the winter stuffy nose that he gets…. works great for that! :-) I would definitely buy another one.

I am writing this review because of the excellent customer service I received from Syvio on my recent purchase of a humidifier. I purchased it on Amazon a few weeks ago and it worked, that is it produced steam, but the humidity sensor/humidity display did not. That means you can not use the feature to automatically turn the unit off at a preset humidity value. I went to the Syvio web site and left them a message that I like the unit, but what might I try to get the humidity to display. The same day I got a response suggesting a fix. I tried the fix a couple of times, no change and emailed customer support to that effect. Again, the same day they responded and asked me to email them a copy of the invoice. The next day I got an email from them saying a replacement unit has been sent to you including the shipping detail. I received the unit a few days later, it works 100% and it is a slick unit, small but runs 8 to 10 hours for me on a single fill up and has very easy to use controls on its front surface.

Works great and no complaints other than that you must use distilled water. We put it in the nursery and after a few days we noticed a film on every surface and all over the walls. Like a powder. Our water is very clean and not much chlorine (city water), but this must vaporize all of the minerals in the water is my only guess.But all in all its a great humidifier, very easy to clean, no filters, and compact.Update: Syvio have me a full refund due to the issue I reported above. Due to this I've updated my rating to 4 stars from 3 stars to reflect their great customer service.

The media could not be loaded. This is the 2nd one iv ordered in less than a year. I bought one a few months ago thinking maybe I didn’t use it correctly or it was my fault, so to make sure I ordered another one and the bottom part is like melted. I received this one Dec 8, and it’s already doing the same thing. Will not be purchasing again.They contacted me and gave me a full refund 😊

UPDATE: After leaving a review, the seller contacted me and sent a new one. I was hopeful, and yet just like the last one, this one broke after a few days. This time the issue isn’t that the float doesn’t stay together, but that it’s somehow just totally stuck low in the pipe and will not budge. I’ve pushed it, I’ve pulled it, I’ve tugged with pliers. How it happened, I’ll never know.Unsurprisingly, a float that won’t float isn’t very useful (unless your water is at a very specific level 24/7)Skip this humidifier. Buy a Levoit instead.—INITIAL REACTION:I was thrilled by the overall quality of the humidifier when I opened the package. It seemed well built, looked great, and was easy to use. It hummed along strongly every night beside my bed, that is, until it just stopped working. and then worked again. and then stopped again.I spent the next few nights troubleshooting, tinkering, and trying to figure out why it was such a sporadic success.MAJOR DOWNFALL:I discovered the main issue with the sporadic stream came down to a flaw in the design itself. Down the center of the humidifier is a tube that runs downward towards the base, from which come the vibrations that stir the water. In the center of the tube is a little cylinder (the float), with a rubber cap that forms a pretty snug, yet flexible fit. The float with the rubber cap slides down the tube, the vibrations push water up the tube, vibrating the flexible rubber, and "diffusing" the water.The issue is that the rubber cap BARELY fits on the float, and when sliding down the tube, slides right off the float. It's nearly impossible to get the float to the bottom of the tube without the friction slipping the rubber cap off. If you do get it seated correctly, it'll last a few rounds before it either vibrates itself off, or comes undone when filling.OTHER ISSUES:Other dislikes include the fact that the entire machine is one piece. If you plan to fill this up via a sink, you have to unplug it and bring the entire machine to the sink.OVERALL:I had really high hopes for this one. Instead, just buy a competitor (Levoit Dual 200S is MILES ahead of this one)

Easy to clean, easy to use! I've tried a couple different devices but they were all difficult to clean (all the tiny crevices) and mold would build up so fast I'd end up throwing them away. This one cleans so easily! You just take the lid off, everything comes apart so easily, give everything a good wipe down, rinse, and you're good to go!I have it running daily for my plants (which are thriving!) and do a deep clean every other week. I use those little humidifer cleaning fish to help keep it clean for longer.You can set it to a specific humidity % as well as the speed of it. It's fairly quiet, and it has a soft blue light that emits from it while it's running.It auto shuts off once it runs out of water.Seriously so happy with this purchase!

Overall this humidifier works well, but I paid a little extra to get the model with the humidity sensor and readout. Worked less than a week when I started getting an E3 readout. The instructions described what it meant but didn’t offer a fix so while the humidifier worked the readout didn’t tell me what the humidity was.I like the design and this is easy to fill and very easy to clean. Oh, and if you want to use this without the light, the mist setting is very limited. Not a great option.
