Review: Better than expected. - I got this to hook to my phone for making quick videos and audio notes. I record stuff in the shop so I can refer back to it at a later time. This mic sounds a lot better than I was expecting for the price and that silly little wind screen actually works really well. Now if I can just keep my pitbull from chewing it off of me. I have it clipped to the front pocket of my work bibs and every time my pitty gives me loves, she CANNOT resist givin this mic a little nibble. If she breaks it, at this price I will surely buy another. It's made a big improvements in my recordings for sure. The cord is pretty dang long too - not sure how long since I've never unraveled it but rather stuff the rolled up cord into my pocket since I never need it more than a foot or so. One downside to it, and this might just be me or my phone, is that it causes the speaker to go mute once it's plugged in to my phone. **Q: Are there any issues with picking up "mouth noises" (clicks, saliva, etc)?**
A: That is not a mic question, all mics will pick up any sound in its frequency range at level it hits the element.  Keep your subject hydrated to avoid extranious mouth noise.

**Q: Does this work on PC?**
A: Yes it does, but you will need the adaptor. the mic has three rings which is for cel phones, the adaptor will have just two,  for your laptop of pc

**Q: Does this work with Samsung Galaxy S5?**
A: I tried with my iphone 11 pro and it doesnt work. So cant generalize and say it works with every phone that has an earphone jack. After seeing this reply i purchased this device along with an external earphone jack adaptor for iphone.

**Q: I cant hear anything when this is plugged in to my iphone, am i doing something wrong?**
A: When the microphone is plugged in, since it isn't a speaker, you can't hear the content that's playing. Try unplugging it to hear the content. Now, if when unplugged, the content has no sound, something isn't working properly. Try checking you phone settings. Other than that....not too sure.

This product works very well. I was able to clip it on to someone during an interview and the sound was very loud and clear. What made this even better was that it was able to pick out my voice from across the person pretty well too. Background noise is also minimal to non-existent. Great product for an amazing price. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because the cord could be longer, it isn't short by any means. But it could be longer. Other than that, amazing product. Comes in a very nice and secure package and also has a pouch. So you're faced with a dilemma, whether to use the secure package or the carrying pouch. We had a family meeting, put it to a vote, the pouch one by narrowest of margins.
