It took a bit of patience, but one of my two dogs has learned to use these. We tried smaller buttons first and he never used those. We tried these and I think he likes the bigger size. The audio quality is sufficient. It definitely sounds better with a higher pitch voice (ie a woman's voice) for some reason. But it's easy to record what you want to say and you can retry as many times as you want or change it later.

We use these at the door for "outside", "eat", "grandma", and "ball". THIS WORKS! He actively uses "outside" and "ball" buttons.Love it highly recommend and so easy to record and use.

If my corgi gets pushy about a specific word, or feels we are ignoring her (i.e. she asks for a walk and we say No. Walk later.), it's very easy for her to reset the word on the button. This only furthers her aggravation.

This is our second set. we have the places buttons and these are for more words. I like this one due to it being yellow which is a brighter color dogs can see. It takes a bit but once you train the word or saying you want and place it near where you want them to associate it it works . I have one near her toys saying "want to play" and a treat one next to her treats. She's training us really lol! I will keep getting these and working on her vocab to get her to let us know all she needs and it helps work their brain as well.

Took one star away as Playback audio is so-so quality. Took another star for there being one button in each box I ordered that don’t work at all. Used brand new batteries and will not record. Can’t return because I wasn't thinking and tossed the boxes before fully testing all the buttons.

This was my second purchase. My first box of four had one button stop working about 3 weeks in. This set is terrible! Two of three buttons sound horrible. One works great, so I know what they could and should sound like. This brand is not worth spending money on. Fluent pet buttons may be more expensive, but you get properly working stuff and they respond to their customers. Hunger4words can’t be bothered.

I bought this just to see if my cats would learn to uses them and it works . the very first time i had my bomb bay cat try it. he was patting at it. but not pushing it down hard enough. But it works with cats as will. Thank you for such an innovating learning experience.

These buttons are sturdy and easy to set up. We have 2 boxers and my daughter's Argentinian Mastiff stay with us quite a bit. I thought it would be cute if they could "tell us what they want". This product comes with great instructions regarding how to help train your pup with these buttons. I chose to have one of our buttons associated with treats. If nothing else it is super fun for them to use the button (with help at this point) to get a treat. Our male boxer got mad though, my daughters dog figured the link out and was pressing the button like crazy and much to our boxers dislike, was getting all the treats :P
