I haven’t used this set yet. This set is put together really nicely. It has a nice zippered case that holds everything. It has two sets of needles which is needed to sew the correct running repair stitch. I purchased this to replace the needles I’ve broken. I have nerve damage in my hands and use pliers & a thimble. This push and pull can cause strain on the needles causing breakage. I purchased separately a third set as back up. The only thing I think that’s missing from the kit is a thimble. This set contains small spools of heavy duty thread of different colors. It’s basic but really nice and really adds value. A spool of upholstery thread is close to the cost of this set, and would leave you with a lot unused!

I work for a delivery company. The vehicles are mostly well maintained, except several of them have the seats coming apart by the right shoulder area. They are Ram Promaster van's. The foam keeps flecking off onto my clothes and the floor. I decided to buy this kit to sew them up myself. I'm not great at sewing at all, but I did an alright job. I was nervous the thread may not be very strong in this kit, but I put a few smaller stitches in before doing any of the complete jobs, and stress tested them by pulling at the still open seam where I'd just stitched it. None of the stitches released. And I wasn't being nice, I was yanking pretty hard. This of course may depend on your stitching job. I was going very tight with the stitches. This kit also included some scissors that are actually decent. Most small sewing kits usually have a pair of scissors that basically collapse when you try to use them. These scissors, however, are quite sturdy. They are like the sewing scissors they used at the sewing plant that makes the U.S. Militaries uniforms. (one of them) so basically professional. There are lots of other little helpful tools included in this kit. The "thimble" is actually way more useful than traditional thimbles because of the level of control it offers, being able to loop around your fingertip instead of awkwardly sit on the end (I have big fingers).After having found success with the van seats, I found lots of other little things around the house I was able to use this on; The stitching on the edge of my couch seat, the bottom seam of my hot food delivery bag, and the button on my work shorts. (too thick for small needles in most kits).I see now that the price went down by a few dollars a couple days after I ordered it, but its worth the original price I paid.One other thing: I really like the little case it comes in. Its helpful as it not only keeps everything together securely, but its flexible enough to take a bit of abuse inside of a bag without breaking.

Nice little kit with some decent pieces. Threads are strong. works great.

Came in with what’s in the photo scissors are a little difficult to cut besides that the colors are useful for what ever fabric everything works as expected

Everything was of good quality easy to store with the case it's all in shears are super sharp comes with multiple sizes and styles of needles overall great product

This is a convenient case of usable upholstery supplies. I recommend due to quality of case and supplies in a small space.

I bought this sewing kit for my boat, which has a lot of old canvass that requires mending from time to time. This kit provides everything I need to maintain the canvass, heavy duty needles, plenty of good quality thread with a big selection of colors. Comes in a nice zipper case, compact and light weight. Great for traveling, camping, any situation that may require a quick mend.

Complete little kit. Need something handy to sew up dog toys and this was just right. Scissors are even sharp.
