Have these on each side of the bed. Fastened to the bed frame. Use every night.

My wife has been remodeling the kitchen for the past year. We moved a dish cabinet into the kitchen which was going to cover over the AC wall outlets. So we bought this product Presto Plug to extend the AC power out from behind the cabinet. The Presto Plug when plugged into did not work. I am an Electronics Engineer, so I got my volt meter out and tested the AC wall outlets they tested good. The Presto Plug when tested had 0 vots, no good. I got back on Amazon to look the seller up, now way to contact the seller and tell them there may be a safety issue with their product. I called Amazon and spoke to a representative and stated my issue and my concerns about the Presto Plug not working and my concern about safety.Something is wrong with the product. Being the curious Engineer I am, I took the Presto Plug apart. I took a picture and it is very visible the Presto Plug has a failed part that got hot and burnt the circuit board. Removing the Presto Plug from the recently painted kitchen wall resulted in the tearing of the sheetrock paper, now more repair work to do on our kitchen wall!!!! Not a happy customer. I would not recommend this product to anyone, fearful of the components failing, possible fire hazard in my opinion.

Don't know if they come in other colors. I use it in my bedroom near my bed to charge my phone and Kindle.

This is an excellent find for our RV as they don't put the plugs in the most easily accessed places, especially as we age. However, the only drawback is the adhesion. They say to make sure you place it where you want it as it won't remove, but it surely does. All on it's own. You just find it on the counter! But, I have now attached them with Command strips and now they are perfect! Still, an excellent find.Ok, now editing this review as for whatever reason, after about a week on the wall and very little to no use at all, the outlet no longer works. The outlet it's plugged into works just fine, so the issue is clearly with the extension. There is no 'reset' button that I can find. Now, I have to figure out how to get it off my RV wall without damaging the wall as I never thought I'd have to remove it, and certainly not this soon. The one in the bathroom does continue to work though.

just got it last month...truly worth it ...I had 3 extensions going along my bedroom wall along the window...many times 1 of them would unplug..I have an outlet behind my bed frame.. I use it for my cell and iPad...my husband has his clock and cell phone connected..we live in a 1963 townhouse...outlets r all over the home in area's we can't reach due to the design of the times...so this was a huge help..we live in Bay Terrace Bayside Queens...just for credibility purposes...can't make that up lol!! also...I did not stick it to our walls..we have it laying flat on our night tables... I used the tube to straighten out the cord and therefore I'm able to lay it flat on our night tables.

I first got one of these to move a plug for easier access for charging mobile devices and it worked great. Then I ordered a second to move one so I could plug in an iron next to an ironing board - this was NOT great. The plug worked for about 10 seconds then was dead.These are designed with an internal, un-resettable fuse that WILL POP with anything that uses a significant amount of current. I suspect anything more power draw than a laptop might run into issues and it certainly doesn't work for things like hairdryers or irons. If this happens, the outlet is dead forever.I do not recommend this device. I'm sure there are others which don't have this limitation.

I was so excited for to use this. I cleaned my smooth wall, let it completely dry (I let the wall I cleaned dry for 2 overkill hours) pressed thus plug to the wall and didn't touch it for an entire day, then bam the darn thing falls to the floor without anything even plugged in to it. Completely bummed, now I have to find a suitable replacement that will actually stay on the wall.

I was using it because I needed to move my outlet because it was near a crib the adhesive did not stay for them it stopped being sticky after a while

Wouldn’t recommend this product because the plugs don’t stay in it. It also heats up and doesn’t allow the adhesive to stick to wall.

I had this product just over a month and it no longer works complete waste of money.
