Best Bird Carrier
I originally bought one of those carriers on here with the ugly patterns that are just bulky shoulder bags with mesh on each side and a perch inside. I wasn't satisfied with it at all, but it was the only bird carrier I could find that was easily portable and didn't cost $200-300 like Celltei carriers. I decided to just bite the bullet and buy a Celltei carrier for my bird, when I found this one. It looked excellent online and had good reviews, so I ordered one. I was skeptical about the quality of it because it just seemed too good to be true. My other searches for carriers other than Celltei brand (which are outrageously overpriced, like, come on, what makes your carrier worth over $200???) and the crappy one I bought before yielded nothing, so imagine how skeptical I was of this one when I found it.However, when it arrived and I unboxed it, I was amazed. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy in any way. Unlike the ugly carrier I bought before, it looks good, not too different from a regular backpack. It also has shoulder straps, which the ugly carrier didn't have; it only had a crossbody strap, which made it too unstable when walking and shook my poor bird around when I was trying to take him out for a nice stroll at the park. I would have to hold it by the top handle constantly, which just ruined the experience for me, since it was really tiring. This carrier has a lot of versatility in how you carry it. You can wear it on your back like a backpack, over the shoulder like a messenger bag, or simply carry it by the top handle. I haven't tried it yet, but you could probably strap it to your front like a baby carrier, if you felt safer taking your bird out when you could keep an eye on the carrier or if you simply wanted to have your bird closer to interact with. One thing I didn't know about this bag when I ordered it is that it has the ability to be configured so that you can fasten a seatbelt through the straps on the back, like you would a child's carseat. The waist straps can be fastened into 2 extra buckles at the top for this feature. The instructions that come with it explain this. I was happy when I discovered this addition. I like to take my bird places, but I want to ensure that he is safe while traveling. You can put the shoulder strap over the headrest of one of your carseats and fasten the seatbelt through the straps on the back for a secure ride for your bird, while driving. All of the zippers on the carrier are high quality, not flimsy and breakable. You would have a very hard time breaking one of these zippers. The clear plastic window on the front of the carrier is very flexible but doesn't feel like it would be easily broken. I love the shades that you can roll over the front and sides if your bird needs sleep or privacy while traveling. The area for attaching a water bottle is an awesome addition, and the elastic straps for holding the bottle are very snug. My bird has a glass water bottle, and I don't worry at all about it slipping out of the straps of this bag. The food bowl also fits very snugly and securely. I like the drip tray and the removable grate that goes over it. It's extremely easy to clean. The included zipper pouch is super useful for carrying foods or prescriptions, and the mesh pocket on the side is great for treats. While out and about, the metal ventilation holes in the carrier are big enough that you could give your bird treats through them and not have to try unzipping the bag a little and risking your bird flying away. Also, another thing I didn't know when I ordered is that the carrier comes with a storage bag for storing the entire carrier, which is really nice. If you don't use it often, the bag can keep it from getting dusty and protect it from pests while in storage. When I first set the carrier up, I used a wet cloth soaked in bird safe sanitizing solution to wipe down the inside of the carrier and the perch. The material is smooth and very easy to wipe off. The drip tray slides in through one side and fits very tightly, so you don't have to worry about the tray moving around. The ventilation mesh feels to be of a good quality. That being said, I wouldn't recommend this for birds larger than a large conure or for aggressive chewers. The mesh is not made of metal, so a determined bird could probably chew through it. You should supervise your bird in this carrier before taking it outside. My bird (green cheek conure) doesn't chew anything very often, so I don't worry about him chewing through the mesh or plastic window and escaping. Still, that is one of my criticisms of this carrier; it would be better with a metal or tough plastic wire mesh. Even though it's very unlikely that my bird would ever chew through it, I would feel even more secure transporting him in it if the mesh were made of a stronger material. My only other suggestion for this carrier is that a toy hook inside would be great for preventing birds from getting extremely bored during travel. You could find a way to hang most toys inside, especially because the carrier has 4 ventilation holes across the top, but a dedicated toy hanger would still be nice.Overall, I love this carrier, and I'm so glad I found it so I could save potentially $200 on a quality bird carrier. I even got compliments on it the very first time I took my bird out in it. His first trip in this carrier was to the exotics vet for a check up, and the vet said this carrier was "really cool" and asked where I got it. Then, as I was leaving the office, a woman who was at the check out window complimented how neat it was. It really is an excellent carrier, and I highly recommend it to anyone with a smaller bird up to a bird around the size of a sun conure. It's not big enough for medium sized birds. However, I wouldn't recommend it for very small birds, like finches, because they could feasibly squeeze out of the ventilation holes. I also recommend getting some 3M Vetrap and wrapping the perch inside so that your bird can keep a good grip on it and not slide off.

Worth the money
Great buy! Eclectus fits perfectly. Only thing I wish it had was two bowls instead of one. Other than that, can’t complain. I work at a veterinary hospital and see lots of different types of bird carriers/bags. I am glad I chose this one

Sturdy backpack but measurements are incorrect.
I purchased the large bp. The bp is very well made. I was, however, disappointed that the depth was off by abt 2 inches...10 instead of 12 inches. I ordered the large so the bird would fit in comfortably because of his tail. I'm not sure if the other large bps are incorrectly sized, too. If so, perhaps, a correction in the advertising should be made.

Great bird carrier
Used this for a road trip with our green cheek. It was the perfect size and stood up to her chewing when she tried to break out a few times. There are a few improvements that could be made. Additional d rings in the interior to hang toys from would’ve been amazing and a better perch.I plan on making these modifications myself but it would’ve been perfect if it already had them.Main gripe would be the perch. The screws that are used are smaller than usual so using a better quality perch would have to be made instead of being able to use store bought ones.

Product feels very study and well made and eve compresses down to a good storage size
This bag feels more dedicated toward a long travel like a move across country.Ventilation does not seem that good and I wish they had a side pouch that could allow the addition of a optional fan for a hot day.Needless to say the quality feels good the sides that are 100% stiff/cloth are reinforced with some plywood like material for stiffness, inside is lined with what feels to be a good quality plastic offering wind resistance of course the downside is it will trap heat however I feel it has enough netting and the outer material being a cooler color shouldn’t build up much extra heat and will give the bird optimum shade.I’ll update this review after I try it out Just very impressed by the build quality and I’m sure my cockatiels be happy. The perch is a nice thickness, not to happy about water bottle position meaning the bird needs to be on the button of the bag to drink water where as they can eat perched however I think that’s more or less a problem with the design since if it could be placed higher the material would be to thin plus the ventilation would probably be hindered if they were to flip flop it to where the top is stiff and the button is a mesh material. So I don’t think there is any work around in that area.Edit: My Bird got injuried and the vet advised my cockatiel stay in a cage roughly the size of this bag and honestly this bag makes it easy to give him his meds, he feels safe, and he has his food and water so it’s like a temporary portable cage.Took perch out since he can’t perch right now and I’m laying pillow cages over the metal grid for my lil guy to lay on.All and all solid bag and definitely fantastic for vacations or monitoring a injured or sick Bird by placing them on your night stand when you sleep or on your desk when you work.

Great bird travel bag, a cage in a backpack!
I bought this carrier to take my 2 budgies, one English budgie & one standard budgie, on a a road trip. It’s the best carrier that I have seen yet. It looks like a little back pack when all the flaps are closed, and no one would even guess it’s a pet carrier unless you have the front flap up for your birds to look out the window, or if people hear them chirp of course! Good features of this bag are as follows: #1 good ventilation, mesh screen on both sides, the bottom front, and 3 vent holes on the top that let air in if all your flaps are closed. The 2 side screens and front plastic window flaps have buttons so you can roll them back & pin them in place. The mesh screens are fine enough so that no seeds or feathers can fall outside the bag. #2 removable tray & grate: This comes out through a zipper on the lower side to be cleaned & keeps your birds from sitting in their own filth all day. #3 easy to carry: the straps on the bag make it easy to carry on your shoulder, in your hand, or on your back like a back pack. The bag sits nice & straight when on your back, & when sitting on a table. This bag sits nicely in a car seat with the long strap wrapping up around the head rest, and the seat belt fastened around the bag, which makes it very secure. #4 comes with suspended metal bowl, and an area to attach a water bottle to the outside of the bag for extra cleanliness. #5 perch: the perch was an okay height that both my birds could get up on it from the floor of the cage. Bad features of the bag: #1 perch: the perch didn’t have adjustable height for a larger or smaller bird, and it would have been nice to have a second perch at a different height so the birds could more easily get around each other. #2. Dishes: water bottle wasn’t included With the bag & the feed dish was a bit too deep. I put 2 dishes on the floor of the carrier, with rubber bottoms, so they wouldn’t slip around. Without the rubber, they would have, in the car. I used the included deep dish for treats. #3 no where to hang any treats from the sides of the cage, or toys if you wanted to.#4 a bit messy to clean: Although the removable tray/grate really helped with cleaning, around the sides where the tray sits, are a lot of nooks and crannies where spilled pellets, seeds and feathers can get. After 2 or 3 days, the whole bag really needs to be dumped clean of all the seeds that get in around the corners. Although there are a few features of this bag that could be improved upon, I was still really pleased with its overall function. I do recommend a few things to take note of however, if you do decide to purchase this bag. Air out the bag at least a few days before you put your birds in, as there seems to be a bit of off gassing, which was fine after a few days. Also, start getting your birds used to the bag a week before the trip so they are not stressed by it when it’s time to go. It took my birds about 4 tries getting in the bag so that they weren’t afraid of it anymore. The other thing is, be careful with the sun shining on the front window of the bag as it’s plastic, & could heat up the bag. Also the bag is not insulated, so it needs to be covered if taking it outside in winter. Finally, when the front flap is rolled up and pinned so that your birds can look out the window, the rolled flap tends to block the 3 vent holes on the top of the bag, so care needs to be taken that adequate ventilation is coming from at least one of the other vents, if the top ones are covered. Despite the few minor things that could have been improved upon regarding this bag, it was a great bag for travelling, and a god send for bringing my birds on a road trip. Saved a lot of money from having to board them, and they got used to it fairly quickly. I received many compliments on the bag, and quite a few people said that they never knew such a thing even existed! Nice to see someone put a bit of thought into its design. I highly recommend.

Best bird carrier ever!!
This is my dream bird carrier & it's better than I thought it would be. The zippers are really protected from birds chewing/pecking at them!, perch is a dowel, but very sturdy & safe for your precious bird. I love that the front opening has 2 zipper -which I will lock/clip closed so my children or curious observers cant open it. Compared to other carriers I've had & seen this one has so much ventalation. If it gets too breezy, the side panels could be closed & front panel closed but still allowing air flow. There are 3 holes (that are reinforced with metal) at the top of the carrier -which I attached a toy through them.I included many pictures, because I found the ones online didnt do it justice.1. there is a hole & elastics for a water bottle. I included mine in a picture, but it doesnt come with it.2. The man wearing the carrier has it weird on his back. It has a shoulder strap. This one keeps the carrier snug against your back.3. It also has a waist strap.. which you can attach around your waist or clip them into the clips at the top by the handle (which is padded really well and very comfortable!).I thought the clear, soft screen at the front would be horrendous & my bird would chew through it. He hadnt. Awesome quality. This carrier has a bag it comes in that's really huge & intimidating. Its incredable. Be careful the first time you zipped it up. Its tight around the corners and the teeth may not click in one after the other properly.I gave it 4/5 because the bird stand itself was damaged & the bottom grate was damaged in one corner ...both you can see in the pictures. Regardless best carrier ever!!!! I tried another brand/kind. This one is more enjoyable, safer, less advious, has so much ventalation & sturdier than others! I'm so glad I bought it!I will attach a picture of my bird in it & of it on my back once I get one. I will also remove the damaged picture & change the rating if the company replaces the damaged parts.

Almost Perfect. 95% what I was looking for. But I didn't see a "warm" pet carrier before anyways.
Very good quality. As described, identical to picture. Fits a Yellow Napped Amazon. His tail touches the floor a bit tho, so if u have a parrot of similar size with longuer tail, this won't be comphyWill fit an african Gray or a not very large cockatoo.Love it. The only thing I could ask more is that it would be better insulated snowy winters.EDIT:- You'll have to replace the perch after a couple of trips. Really easy to chew for a medium-large parrot. However, this is more a parrot issue rather than build issue. Wish they've supplied backup perches with the bag or sold replacements.- The backpack fits into an adult's winter jacket, which provides enough insulation for a car trip with negative temperatures outside.

Durable construction and materials
I just received it, but this carrier seems to be durable and made with quality materials. The clasps and zippers all feel high quality and unlikely to split or break, and there is nothing cheap about the feel of the fabric or clear window. The carrier can only accommodate one perch, but it has a spot for a water bottle and food dish. There's lots of venting and you could easily get a cross-breeze through the carrier, so I wouldn't be worried about overheating any more than if my bird was in a regular cage. Probably most exciting, my green cheek conure *went into the carrier by himself*!! I've had other pet carrier he wouldn't go into for even a heaping pile of seeds, so I'm thrilled with his voluntary interest in this particular carrier!

Great Quality
We are still working on trying to get my Quaker parrot to stay in it and not panic when we zip the plastic cover. Baby steps and eventually we will get there. The only criticism I have is that for a Quaker parrot that have longer tail feathers its kind of difficult as it touches the back of the carrier so he kind of has to be sideways. I wish we could place the perch closer to the front to leave more room in the back but it is not possible as there is only one opening on each side of the carrier to install the perch. Something to think about if your parrot/bird has a long tail.
