Amazing product at a good price. Much better that the wood stands out there that you need to buy two of versus one of these.

This thing is pretty expensive so it took a while before I decided to get it. I was taught how to make the old wood version which I have in my shop but they are a temporary solution. I can see this one being passed on to the next generation and beyond. Fairly easy to use but you have to be balanced enough to push the lever down with 1 foot while holding a hundred pound door. I can still do this at 62 but I have some workers that probably can't. Overall a brilliant design and I recommend this for every good carpenter.

Purchased this to help with holding a bunch of doors to do some edge planing and hinge routing. Worked perfectly and is very easy to use. Placed a couple of weights against the bottom end of the doors to make sure they did not slide when using the planer, but probably didn't actually need too. Product is very well made and has a nice powder coat finish.
