This is a good product for use on various items (mostly furniture) that need to have protection against damaging floors. We recently had wood floors refinished and this has worked well for chair legs, standing shelves, etc. This is a bit more narrow than I expected, so make sure you're getting the width that you require. The adhesive seems strong, I did clean things well with alcohol before adhering the felt strip.
