Tricky to germinate; thrives in heat!
**First thing that needs to be done with These seeds is to nick/crack the seed casing on the side so water can start germination. Use some nail clippers or pliers and try not to damage the inside.1. These are hard to germinate in soil. Takes at least a month with 90% germination rate.2. I had a nearly 100% germination rate when I rolled these in damp paper towels and put in a plastic baggie-about 10-12 days to germinate. Then I carefully planted the seedlings in seed starter trays.3. Another nearly 100% germination rate is to sprout these on damp LECA pebbles. Germination rate outside in heat was 7 days! These vines thrive in hot weather and are very productive!

Very good!
Of these seeds, every single one that I placed into the ground grew, that was impressive, as I wasn't expecting it.The plants taste how I expected, but the skin was quite thick compared to what I get from the store, and is so thick that you can poke yourself on skin shards in your mouth after cooking it.Good seeds though!

10$ a bunch at the grocery store for this veggie... Not any more, I am growing it at home!
The amount of seeds I received from this company is awesome! Chinese vegetables are a treat in our house hold and bring a new fresh flavor to our foodie family! But seriously, Fred Meyer and Alberstons wants to charge 10$ a bunch for this beauty...no way! I purchased a ton of seed and will now grow it organic fresh at home in my green house!

Growing wonderfully!
Buying seeds online can be hit or miss. I dropped a couple seeds into some very wet dirt ( not expecting anything considering I didn’t soak them prior) just for funsies and they both germinated and are now growing in my garden! Assuming the other seeds germinate and are as successful, you really can’t beat this deal.

33 Percent Resistant to the Dangers in Our Neck of the Woods!
Couldn't be happier!UPDATE JANUARY 5, 2019: I just harvested a 3-foot luffah gourd that originated from these seeds. My plants were heavily damaged by leaf miners (or my attempt at ridding myself of them). Before removing the plants and planting new ones, I wanted to try letting the gourds on the vines mature. They did, and I harvested 3 super-long luffah. I'm in zone 9b, which is why a January harvest. :)UPDATE MAY 5, 2018: We harvested or first loofah today! It started to turn yellow-brown -- which is normal -- and it probably would've been okay on the vine another couple days, but I was excited and didn't want to wait. We rinsed it in cold water, and the seeds mostly slid right out. We yielded 71 seeds. Setting it out to dry now.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was way more seeds than I needed or wanted for my small space, but it was also the best price with the best reviews. A true gardener probably could've done with 2 seeds. I have a black thumb, so I germinated 6 seeds. The cat ate 2. I planted 4. Hurricane Irma killed off 2 more. Leaf miners took their best shot at the last 2. So we can attest about 33 percent of these seeds are cat-, black-thumb, hurricane-, and leaf miner-resistant. They are survivors, and this loofah has made it far enough that we're ready to share it. :)
