Big fan of Geritsen and "RIZZOLI and ISLES, but this one is not up to par with the early novels. Seems to be written in the style of James Patterson ie Short chapters, and multi plotlines, but the realtionship with Jane and Maura just isn't there, and the first half doesn't grip as it should. However the second half picks up the pace and tension. I wonder if I have read too many crime novels...I guessed the ending! If you have the patience - wait for the paperback. It is sad because those early novels really packed a heavy punch. This doesn't, but still a 4 star read for me.

I'm a big fan of Tess Gerritsen and her latest Isles & Rizzoli novel does not disappoint. It's really excellent and kept me hooked from beginning to end. If you've already read other novels from Tess Gerritsen then you won't be disappointed and if you've never read any of her books, then what are you waiting for? I can't recommend her too highly and along with Harlan Coben, she's my favourite thriller writer.

A book that keeps you on the edge of you seat until the very last page. Having read all of Tess Gerritsens books, I have Never been disappointed or regretted buying one of her books. I wanted the book to go on forever..... Just such a clever story line.

I love Rizzoli and Isles books. The TV show didn’t do them justice! I really did enjoy the story. Angela Rizzoli takes a much larger role in this book, and it was interesting to see the relationship between her and her daughter. If you enjoyed the previous books, you should definitely read it.

I'd been waiting for another Rizzoli & Isles novel for ages, and this does not disappoint. finished it within 6 hours, was totally gripped! highly recommend :)
