Laser Level, 100Ft Self Leveling Green Cross Line Laser

I’ve been using this laser level for about a year and it’s been very reliable. The laser is bright and easy to see, and having both horizontal and vertical lines makes it really versatile for projects like hanging pictures or tile work. The magnetic base works, but I wish it was a little stronger for more secure mounting. It also takes a little getting used to when turning it off. Hard to say. It just takes a second to understand the limitations of what it is. REALLY good for vertical applications. Also good for horizontal, but make sure you get a tripod at the height you want to use it at. There is very minimal give horizontal from level (up or down) from the height you have it placed at, so you have to try your best to get it at that level height to start. I liked the green and it was easy to see. Battery lasted long enough. It's good quality for the price. Happy I have it, but just some things to help understand before you start using it.

I needed a self leveling laser for ensuring a sloped slab was completely flat for LVP. I went with green over the red because green is generally a hi-Vis laser color and I need to work in a well lit areas. The cross beam easily helps to mark out true level, and rotating this on a tripod (that I already had) was almost too easy to find low & high spots. Instructions that came with it are clear and easy to understand. Not much to it: put the batteries in it, turn it on & unlock the self leveler. It's also smart enough to flash if it's sitting too far out of level that it cannot self level. Very sturdy; I dropped it once from around waist height and it got knocked round quite a bit. Overall great product. Worth every penny, and something that I didn't know that I needed, but now that I have it - I suspect projects in the future that require leveling readings will be much easier.

Very handy little level well worth the money, comes with a magnetic mount and adhesive mount. Also has a mounting threaded hole for or a tripod which is not supplied but a good option. Also came with a 5 year warranty!

I recently purchased the 100Ft Self Leveling Green Laser from Huepar, and overall I’d say it’s decent but has some drawbacks. The green laser itself is bright and easy to see, and the self-leveling feature works as expected for basic projects. However, I had a lot of trouble getting it to fit securely on a tripod. They did include a tripod attachment, which I appreciated, but I tried it on both of my tripods and couldn’t get the laser to stay level or feel stable. That was frustrating, especially when precision matters. My other major complaint is the battery life. It seems to run out fairly quickly, especially if you’re using it for an extended period of time. If you’re planning to run the laser for longer jobs, you may want to invest in something a bit more expensive with better battery performance. Overall, it works fine for small, quick projects, but the tripod compatibility and battery life issues keep it from being a higher-rated tool for me.

My attitude when awarding stars for a product is that you balance what you received against what you paid for it. This laser was inexpensive and that’s what I was looking for. I needed to hang many tapestries and textile wall hangings, by myself, which would have been difficult to level and support without a clear level line established in advance. The hangings were all wider than my 4-foot bubble level. The laser helped me judge from a distance the height and level of each, which would have been difficult by myself, standing with a tape measure and level a foot from the walls. The laser was easily worth the price I paid, and it did the job I asked it to do. The laser can only be aimed upwards/downwards by four degrees. (4°) from level, so it must be elevated by a tripod, or a camera tripod standing on top of something, to achieve heights high above the floor. For the wall hangings, I had to use my camera tripod extended to maximum height, supported by a table underneath to get the laser line near the ceiling. The laser has a magnet that could be hung by the metal corner bead of a drywall corner, if the corner has metal, not plastic corner beads. Mine didn’t, so I used the tripod to mount it. The laser accuracy at 30-feet from the wall is about 5/8”, which is measurable but unnoticeable for most purposes. I later used the laser at dusk to level a line of fence posts outside, and it worked well for that, the laser line being bright enough in low light to mark the line of posts. My point is that the accuracy and brightness were sufficient for my purposes, the tool was cheap enough, and I guess it gets five stars on that account.

This wasn’t even the fanciest model. It has a simple crosshair for vertical and horizontal. It self balanced regardless of the uneven surface I placed it on. The laser was bright, and probably would have be more than enough for any other room, but my workshop is very, very bright. I turned off the my overhead LED light banks to make markings on the wall. The picture I attached makes it look like the brightness of the death star laser beams. My camera was compensating for the lights being off. The laser was bright, though not so dramatic as the picture. I can’t believe I’ve built this long without this product. I wish I would have known years ago how valuable a self balancing crosshair laser was. Very happy with the product.

I like the way you can attach it to an oppose wall with the velcro, strong light too, mounted tv and pictures and it did a good job.
