The SwissStop BXP pads are outstanding, and have solved the problem I had with the stock pads that came with my 2014 Trek Domane 2.0 bike. The original pads constantly picked up grit that ground into my wheel rims, leaving shards of metal that I had to dig out of the pads. With over 300 miles on the SwissStop BXP pads, I've had no grit problems, and they really do stop you FAST! Best pads I've had on any bike and the only ones I'll buy in the future.

I picked up a road bike single speed (Verde Vario 650b). It comes with a rear caliper brake and the rims are painted. The stock pads were dangerous. With the brakes setup properly, it took about 30 to 40 feet to come to a stop after squeezing the brake lever as hard as possible and this was just at cruising speed of about 12 to 15 miles.I first ordered some Shimano Ultegra brake pads. They stopped only slightly better and was still fearful riding anywhere there was traffic. Next I ordered some koolstop pads because they come highly rated. Although a bit better than the Shimano pads, it still took a while to come to a complete stop. Went back and read every forum and newsgroup I could find seeking a better brake pad. Found a thread talking about Swissstop brake pads and how great they were. I saw their retail price which was more than any other brake pad I have ever purchased soI sought out a cheaper alternative. The BMX forums mentioned Odyssey slim four clear brake pads and how they stop on a dime but do squeal bad. Being less than $10 I ordered a set. Yes I know BMX U Brake Pads should not be interchanged with caliper brakes, but I wanted to give them a try. They stopped on a dime, skidding my back tire with minimal pull of the brake lever, but they squealed so bad it was embarrassing. To the point I would rather coast and put my food down to stop.Finally decided to bite the bullet and give the Swissstops a try. Wow!!!! Stops as good as the Odyssey Slim Fours but with ZERO sound.Now that I know better, the obvious and smart choice would have been to just buy the Swissstops from the beginning. I would have saved hours of tinkering and adjusting all the other brake pads and my issue would have been resolved immediately, rather than over weeks.If you have caliper brakes and in need of a better stopping solution that is dead quiet, give them a try and you will be very happy.

Idk who would talk against these break pads being mediocre. I bought a pair (assuming it was 2 pairs, my mistake) it comes 2 pads per order, and I put them on the front wheel mind you I have a 72v ebike, they stop great! 50mph, 40mph no problem. And surprisingly no real ware on the pads!

These pads were a breeze to install and dial in. Nice stopping power. Recommend.

I switched these with the stock pads on my Shimano CX50 cantilever brakes. Immediately felt a world of difference in stopping and modulation from stock Tiagra pads. Still not as great as hydraulic disc brakes but at least I'm no longer scared of descents as I could never get the stock brakes to work like I thought they should despite cleaning the rims, adjusting toe in, and cleaning/scuffing the pads to eliminate a glazed over surface or contamination. Will buy these again or try Koolstops next time.

Replaced the original brakes on my Giant contend with these and they stop as good as hydraulic disc brakes on my mountain bike. Much better than the original ones. Highly recommend

Bought these as a upgraded to my original brakes. They have far exceeded my expectations.

Wow. Did not expect this level of wet weather performance. Threw these on my bike and now I've got way more confidence in my brakes. Way better than the crappy overmolded road brakes that came with my bike.
