To My Future Dietitians..
I bought this book for a nutrition class and it helped me ace the course! We didn’t read all of the chapters throughout the semester, but I did continue to read what we didn’t cover. To my future dietitians, good luck!

To make matters worse, the author(s) are particularly acronym/abbreviation-happy
Ordered this book as a course textbook and found it to be the most mind-numbing read I've ever endured. The book is essentially a summary of the AND (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) doctrine, but it is very poorly constructed with a never-ending onslaught of mundane bullet-pointed lists of idea fragments. To make matters worse, the author(s) are particularly acronym/abbreviation-happy. So a typical paragraph is constructed as such:"In a 2009 meeting of the ABC at the DEFG, the ABC adopted four new policies (now known as the HIJKL credentials) to support the development of MN and OPQ directives in coordination with the DEFG (and their governing organization, the RSTU). Their policy adoptions included:-a need to improve foundations of something in an overly broad subject-the lack of essential information in an ambiguous discipline or study-systematic development of additional acronyms and abbreviations-finding additional resources for additional meaningless goal statements"I'm not kidding. It's horrifying. If this is your assigned course textbook, bless your poor little heart. Good luck.
