I have had this toaster for a while now and that's when you get a real review of a products performance. Not after you have only toasted a loaf and a couple of bagels. I have used this regularly for multiple loaves of toast and several bags of bagels as well as a fair amount of toaster pastries and for a little economy toaster it had held it's own well. It looks nice on the counter and it is easily cleaned with a quick wipe down and it doesn't streak. It's not fast but it's not slow but it's half fast! It's a good value for an economy 2 slice toaster and it only burns your toast if you crank it up too high and walk away from it.

It looks cheap, but it gets the work done very well. I don't care about looks as it is light weight, but toasted my bread perfectly.

Works good after 4 months... Has short cord only downside... Make sure plug is close !!!!!

Who needs overpriced café toast when you’ve got the OVENTE 2-slice toaster and a dream? I bought this toaster specifically to take with me on the train to work so I could make my own avocado toast with bacon—Dunkin-style, minus the price tag. This little guy is compact, heats evenly, and gives my bread that perfect golden crisp while turning heads and raising eyebrows during my meal breaks. It’s basically my sidekick in the fight against bland breakfasts. Stylish, reliable, and totally worth it. 10/10 would toast in public again.

Upon unboxing and inspecting the budget toaster I recently purchased, my initial impression was less than favorable. The toaster, clad in what can only be described as flimsy plastic, felt unnervingly lightweight in my hands. It was a stark reminder that sometimes, you truly get what you pay for.In fairness, the toaster functions adequately. It toasts bread and bagels reasonably well, with adjustable settings that accommodate various browning preferences. For a college student on a tight budget or someone looking for a temporary solution, this toaster could suffice. It's undeniably basic and won't dazzle anyone, but it gets the job done.However, the build quality is where this toaster falls short. The cheap plastic exterior feels fragile and insubstantial, making me question its durability over time. The buttons and dials lack the reassuring solidity found in higher-end models, and the overall design leaves much to be desired aesthetically.In retrospect, I should have managed my expectations better considering the price point. For those in similar circumstances—tight budgets or temporary needs—this toaster might still be a practical choice. It won't break the bank, and if treated gently, it should function adequately for its intended purpose.Ultimately, though, I've decided to return it. The lack of quality materials and the overall cheap feel were just too difficult to overlook. I'll be investing a bit more in a toaster that not only toasts bread but also feels like it will withstand the test of time.

The openings are a little narrow, so if you get wide bread, you’re not gonna be able to use it for this toaster

It is a basic, ordinary toaster. I insert un-toasted bread, turn the knob to my desired level, push the lever, and when the toast pops up it is successfully toasted. If you want to stop it sooner, you just turn the knob all the way back to zero. What more could anyone possibly want?

I only gave this four stars because of two ‘minor’ deficiencies. If you’re looking for a basic two slice toaster, this is the one to get. It toasts evenly using a simple dial for the darkness. The only ‘minor’ setbacks were that larger slices of bread are a little snug for the slots, and the cord could be a couple of inches longer. I also tested it several times before using to burn off any factory residue from the heating elements.
