Without a doubt, Coleman's 1900 collection steel belted cooler is one of the best coolers I have used. First and foremost, Coleman's cooler is made of outstanding materials. The cooler has a stainless steel exterior with a very dense plastic interior. The stainless steel is very durable, and the paint coat (gunmetal color) is very resistant to scuffs and scrapes. The buckle that holds the cooler closed is entirely made of metal. This buckle closes, holds the cooler very firmly shut and operates flawlessly. Finally, there is a leather handle and an option for an over-the-shoulder strap. These leather straps are of outstanding quality, and the stitching is perfect.While the build quality of the cooler is absolutely perfect, in my opinion, the size is optimal. With the ability to hold 11 quarts (10.4 litres), the cooler can hold three standard bottles of wine or 7 cans with 6 lbs of ice. This is the perfect amount for a trip to the beach, a long car drive, or any day trip.I mainly ordered the cooler to use on my outdoor adventures, such as camping, hiking, or other activities, such as kayaking or paddle boarding, and so far, the cooler has met all my expectations. The cooler can hold enough drinks for any occasion and is extremely durable. Additionally, it keeps your drinks extremely cold throughout the entirety of the day. After taking it out to the lake, it has held up against the elements, and even after accidentally dropping the cooler, it has been unaffected. The aesthetic of the cooler is also stunning. The use of stainless steel and leather straps gives the cooler a vintage look, which I love. I can't say anything bad about the quality and utility of the cooler, and it has completely exceeded my expectations.Overall, at the product's current price point of $269.52 CAD, while I would recommend this cooler it is very expensive. I would definitely classify this as a "premium" product, similar to YETI coolers. It is made of outstanding materials, it is of amazing quality, and it keeps your drinks very cold for extended periods of time. If you are looking for a premium cooler that is perfect for any use, without a doubt give this product a try. It won't disappoint.

High quality, esthetically beautiful, keeps things cold a long time. great for white wine.

This is almost like a piece of art cooler, it is so sleek and perfect looking, the materials and assembly are excellent. It keeps wine cold for hours with no issue. I was actually able to get 4 bottles in, just had to raise one up slightly (lid closes no problem). Put the ice in once the bottles are set and it holds them in place, you do need to empty the ice to get the four back in at the end of the night, three sit on the bottle one is raised. A lot of comments on what a nice cooler this was from various ages, but some older people said they had something similar that was green along time ago so I think this might be a refresh possibly. The cooler does not leak, the outside does not sweat, and it stays sealed very very well.BUT (yep there is a but) this thing with my wine and ice was over 20 pounds(18 just the bottles and this), so the hand strap was out of the question to lug it around and even the should strap felt heavy after lugging this a couple hundred feet to the back yard. For the price, for me at least, something with wheels is a better buy than this, too expensive for the level of work out it gives, needs two handles when filled up.

I have purchased and used Coleman products for years, and own several different types of coolers all made by Coleman. When I saw this cooler, I had to get it. My wife occasionally loves to sip a nice glass of wine, except when we are camping, because our coolers are either too large just to carry a bottle of wine, or they don’t fit the bottle all together. This one allows us to now pack a few bottles of wine, and keep them chilled. I have not fully tested to see how long the wine stays cold in this cooler, but I can assure you, it’s long enough for you to enjoy the full bottle at a cold temperature. The leather is fantastic for those who want a little extra flare, the logo pops, it’s not too heavy, but when loaded, does pack some weight. You can comfortably store three bottles with enough ice to chill them for hours, or if you play with the orientation of the bottles, you can fit four with less ice. You can also use this cooler to carry caned beverages as well, it doesn’t have to be wine, but having the option to bring the wine is awesome. The only thing I have an issue with about this cooler is unfortunately the price. Please don’t get me wrong, because of the craftsmanship, attention to detail, quality materials and design, I believe it caters to a specific group of “Glampers” - though, very much in my opinion, you’re getting value with this cooler, but a lot of that is status. If you are looking for an exquisite cooler that stands out as a conversation piece in addition to your cooler, this is the one for you, bar none.

If you want a cooler that's bound to turn heads and get noticed, then this cooler is going to deliver. Its high-quality construction and mix of all-metal body and thick leather straps are sure to get someone to comment on how well-constructed the cooler is.That said, this is quite the overkill for your typical cooler. You gain a lot of added carrying weight because of the metal body, and to compensate for that, you get less overall storage for the cooler. I would say this is perfect for picnics, BBQs, or a day at the beach, but for actual camping, the storage-to-weight ratio isn't there, especially if you're doing backwoods camping.However, with the proper expectations in mind for what this cooler is, I'm quite pleased with it and am sure that it's going to last me for years and years to come, so if you're tired of your coolers getting damaged from aging on the exterior, then this is fantastic.
