So far, so good!
During the pandemic, I really missed having access to a stairclimber. I love having one in my own home! I've read other reviews of people having many issues with their Stepmill not working properly. We've had ours for a little under a month, and so far our only issue is that we sometimes have to unplug it and replug it to reset the power. (I just yesterday started turning it off completely when I'm finished using it, to see if that solves the problem.) I would estimate that between my husband and me, we've used the machine about 2-3 hours per week, over the last few weeks. The machine was not easy to assemble, so that requires patience and tenacity. But we are very happy with the machine so far.

Save yourself the trouble and buy something else
I normally don't leave reviews, but I am in the middle of having my Stairmaster fixed and it is the worst so I decided to write a review to warn people so they hopefully don't have to deal with this frustrating experience. I got it in Dec of 2018 and it started making terrible noises about a year later. It got so bad that in May 2020 I called someone out to fix it . It is now November and I've had people out 8 times and it still isn't usable (it went from terrible noises to not working at all- like not moving- to now having zero resistance.) Plus, Core, who owns Stairmaster, is not easy to deal with. A part I needed was on backorder for months. I finally asked what part they were waiting on so I could buy it myself and what do you know the very next day (literally) they said it would be shipped out the following day. I won't give the boring details, but it's been an awful and frustrating mess. Buy something else. You will regret it if you buy this machine I promise.

So far so good
Size is right for my home, works great. Have used it for about 3 weeks now. Took a little extra time to get delivered but installation scheduling and completion was fast and simple.

Poor Manufacturer Quality Control
Our StepMill 3 immediately made a loud grinding sound and we could feel the steps skipping. After one week a technician came to our house and figured out the problem. (No cost to us)The steps were misaligned too far to the right (looking from back side). The nuts on the chain bearings were hitting rail posts.Further, the machine does slow down on it's own. The vendor is sending a replacement machine as the workout on the Stepmill is awesome. If the new machine has any issues we'll return for a refund and find a different brand.

Great equipment
The equipment is a great addition to my other workout stuff. The only problem is tha amazon was the same price as it competitors. Some of amazon competitors offered free shipping. I did get a credit for the shipping because it arrived late. I guess since it is a new on the market that may explain the price. The steps could have been wider

It costs extra to ship. Great machine though
Awesome workout-smaller profile than others.

Low quality. Very loud.
Just received the Stairmaster 10/20/16. The very next day, 10/21/16, one of the screws fell out. It is now dangerous to use it.Also, the machine makes extremely loud sound. It feels like you are on a subway station…Would not go with assembly service (Los Angeles area). The technician who was assembling my machine damaged freshly painted walls. When I mentioned it he just “Ok-ed” end left. The company says they have nothing to do with it. Saying "No damage on the picture - no problem". Contacted them about the screw that fell out. They stated that it is an EXTRA.... I wander what other "EXTRA" parts to expect and if this somehow is going to affect my health and safety.Summary: look for something else
