I truly did not want to cover the midnight color the new macbook air comes in because that was one of the reasons I bought it, but when I previewed the laptop in Costco, the guy who worked there warned me it would be a fingerprint magnet. He was not wrong. I went one week without a case on it and I couldn’t take it anymore- fingerprints everywhere!! I considered get a clear case because I wanted the color to still show, but the clear reminded me of Invisalign for a laptop LOL also I couldn’t 100% guarantee the clear case wouldn’t also be a pain to keep clean of scratches and fingerprints. I decided to go with a color that would compliment the midnight blue that is the laptop. I’m so happy with this choice- lavender gray is the MOVE.It’s crisp, clean, lightweight and was super easy to snap on. I love the dust covers for the ports on both sides. I haven’t decided if I’ll leave the keyboard cover on it yet because it kind of just lays on top. Also since they keys themselves light up, the words on the keyboard don’t entirely align and you can’t really see the lit keyboard (picture included showing what I mean, and no it's not just your eyes or a blurry picture. the keyboard cover creates this blurred effect since the words don't match up). I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the screen protector not coming with instructions, which it doesn’t, but if you’ve used screen protectors before it’s exactly like others. I made sure to clean my screen with a microfiber cloth, did an alcohol wipe cleanse, used light tape to get dust off, and went over it with a credit card to smooth it out but still ended up with minor bubbles. They’re not that irritating but it’s better than leaving my screen exposed at this point lol. You can only tell when the screen is black, not really when the screen is on.Honestly for the price, it’s worth the purchase imo. Apple doesn’t even make cases for this model which is so strange lol they only make sleeve covers as of right now. Overall 9/10!

I recently purchased the M2 MacBook Air in midnight color and wanted to make sure I get a reliable case to prevent scratches and fingerprints while still being able to show the color. I usually purchase products on Amazon with a lot of reviews, but I could not find a product online that really gave me relief that it would fit the new MacBook Air. When I came across May Chen's product, there were only ~22 reviews, and all of these reviews mentioned that the case fit perfectly. While I was still not 100% sure, I decided to give this brand a try.I ordered the transparent, clear color because I wanted the midnight color to be visible. When I first received the product, I was disappointed because the top cover had permanent scratch marks from packaging that tainted the appearance of my new laptop. When I contacted the seller, I immediately got a response (within 15 minutes) that said they will send a replacement. In a week, I received a brand new case that was flawless with better packaging. I am extremely happy with this case because it is lightweight/thin, does not require too much force when putting on the laptop, and is easily removable without leaving scratch marks. I was also surprised to find that it came with these little hole blockers (?) for the charging, earphone, and thunderbolt ports to prevent dust from entering.Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing May Chen's case! Also want to thank them for their excellent customer service.

Pros:-Comes with port plugs-Cute cover-Keyboard cover is amazingCons:-Missing the earphone jack plug, but have an extra USB-C port plug-Screen protector is not good T^T-Color is a bit differentWhen I took the case out, I was a bit disappointed because it looked more like a transparent pink than matte. But after installing the case, it looked more matte so I wasn't too bothered by it. The color grew on me so that's a plus. The case is more on the flimsy side. But oh geez the screen protector ><. Definitely not the good stuff. Hella air bubbles and not the best fit on the M2 MBA.

UPDATED REVIEW: I contacted the seller and they very kindly offered to send me a new color, which speaks volumes about their customer service. If you are looking for a fingerprint-free color, they suggested to choose one of these colors (in the attached picture). I went with Rock Sand for my midnight laptop, and it actually looks really nice! Super modern and expensive, which I was originally worried about because I wanted my case to match my laptop perfectly, but the matte black just made it look cheap. So, if you are worried about fingerprints, choose your color wisely!More notes: The keyboard cover in the Rock Sand color is a bit larger than the other, but it has a circle around the fingerprint scanner. The black keyboard cover fits like a glove. Both colors come with added plugs for the ports on the side, and I love that!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I put this case on my computer yesterday. It fits well and the matte black complements the midnight blue well. However, I got this case mainly to stop all my fingerprints from showing up on the computer, and IT IS EVEN WORSE THAN THE MIDNIGHT FINISH. I have literally had this for one day and it makes my new computer look so old. I haven't eaten around my computer, so it must just be the case. I want to return for another color but I am not sure if I can since I opened the package??

The media could not be loaded.  This case is perfect for the MacBook air m2 13.6 inch .this case looks promising and durable and worth the money if you want to keep you MacBook safe and scratch less. I would recommend every macbook air m2 owner to try this. Thanks for the good product :)

It is not anti-glare. It glares the screen really bad with the protector on than without it. I compared it with my other MacBook Air. I was able to install it without a bubble but I can see the challenge people will encounter. I read all the reviews and took my time to carefully apply it on the screen. Still it was very challenging. I wish there was a template to apply like iPhone screen protectors have.

The case itself is fine. It’s a standard clear case. The screen protector on the other hand sucks. Didn’t give me the proper tools to get out air bubbles and i ended up just ripping it off and the throwing it away.

Yeah, well, like some other people here, the case does not allow for the laptop to fully close. I will keep it because I like the color and the feel. I did not use the screen protector to follow Apple's advise.
