They can not make it anymore simpler than this - I put them in my fixtures outside and they work. Four different fixtures. I purchased switch covers so I don’t accidentally turn them off at the switch and every evening they turn on and at dawn they turn off. A wonderful idea which easily allowed me to add the safety of lighting to my home without any additional drama. Took out old light bulb and screwed in this product.

Bought this because it is 40 watts and wanted a lower wattage bulb. Have purchased other brands which have not worked as advertised. This one does! Love it

These 40 watt bulbs replaced my regular 40 watt LED bulbs. They are in slightly opaque fixtures and work very well right out of the box. I was pleased I did not have to orient the bulbs to the sun to get them to work. One bulb is east side my door, the other on the west and they come on at slightly different times. This doesn't bother me. They go out at dawn. UPDATE: I am so pleased with these I purchased an additional 2 pack box so I can have a lighted lamp in my front window.

I needed a light bulb for the front and back door that wasn't too bright. All I could find was a 60 watt bulb from the local stores.This 40 watt was perfect brightness.

have this wattage in stock. All 3 places we tried only had the brighter ones and since this was to illuminate a smaller area with less neighborly annoyance we ended up ordering it from Amazon. Just the right amount of light. Sensor works well at turning on and off at dawn and dusk, and the expectation is that it will last longer than the incandescent it replaced and use a bit less energy.

It is brighter than I was hoping at what I thought was a 40W equivalent.The color is a warm yellow. Although brighter than hoped, it is not too bright.Dusk to dawn (so far) functions perfectly.Simple replacement of the bulb and it's functioning as a dusk to dawn light.Pretty much what I was trying to achieve. 5 stars for a product that delivers as promised.

Had a hard time finding dimmer dusk-to-dawn LED bulbs (most are 60W +) so I'm happy I found these. Bought 4 for garage/driveway. Not too bright which is great since we have 4 fixtures, plus some uplights in yard. Nice addition to exterior lights without too much brightness.

I've gone through 4 of these since December of 2021 (2 at a time). That means they last about a year each. Conservatively estimating that they stay on 12 hours each night, that's 4,380 hours, WAY less than the 30,000 hours they claim.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that these bulbs do not have a visible eye like other dusk to dawn bulbs. They are as advertised and they are really good. I just have to wait and see how long they last.
