Finally got to use these today. Easy to use and clean. Today they were used on a roasted chicken. The plan it to spatchcock a turkey for smoking when the weather warms. It cuts well, it's sturdy, easy to clean and store.

These are sharp and very durable kitchen shears. Decent price and value. I use these to spatchcock turkeys and chickens and they work well.Unlike other shears, they spring open which is very nice when dealing with poultry. But when cleaning, that spring can get lost. So when taking apart, work over a counter and be to note the placement of the spring.I use these all the time.

I have ferrets on a raw diet and the little beggars love organs. So my husband and I are constantly getting livers, kidneys, and hearts from our local butcher. We then cut the organs into pieces and put in smaller quart size bags that we freeze. This item made the process so easy! Now we can cut up large organs without the hassle of using a knife. The ferrets love the fresh food and it saves so much time. The blades are really sharp and cut through things well. Well worth the money!

I use the shears for dressing out wild game! Excellent product and works great. They can be disassembled in seconds for cleaning. They are shipped with an extra spring which will take many years to wear out, doubt I’ll need the extra spring unless I lose the existing one. Heavy duty construction all metal and no plastic with locking handles for safety. Wish the offered a holster for them for remote camping. Highly recommend these shears! Great value for the price. Don’t know where they are made, assume foreign since they don’t have the manufacturing stamp.Richard BRichard B
