I decided to try these bags after reading an article about packing outfits for travel in compressed bags. These bags are large enough to hold a pair of jeans or slacks, a teeshirt, and overshirt and a change of underwear per bag. Once packed and partially sealed, extra air can be "smushed" out, then the bag sealed. I stacked 5 such packets in a large suitcase and still had space for other items. The outfits in the bags were easily identified by sight and sorted for wear by style (casual, formal) and weight (cool days, hot days) and saved lots of searching through closets, drawers, etc in order to put together an outfit, as I used to do. The bags are also a good size for packing and protecting other things like books, papers, and linens, although I don't know about long term storage in plastic and would do more research about that if I consider it in the future. The bags are clean, the zippers work well, there is no strong odor and they were very useful on my trip. I am very pleased with this product and with the speedy delivery by the seller.

These bags are moderately thick, zipper top works but requires gentle handling, basically as described. My only complaint is that they are long and narrow, which prevents them from being useful for sheet or towels sets unless you find a way to fold or roll them exactly. Positive is very low price so I still gave them 5 stars. May be great for smaller items or toys, yarn etc.

I recently purchased these 3-gallon plastic bags for storing my baby's clothes, and overall, I found them to be quite useful. While most of the bags worked fine, I had a few that ripped along the zipper top when I was closing them. This wasn't a major issue, but it was frustrating when I was trying to quickly pack away clothes. These are absolutely fantastic! I bought one package originally because I only needed one bag to store an old newspaper. Then I realized that these are immensely useful for so many things that I want to store that don't fit in regular store size gallon bags - extra parts so I don't have to keep them in a bulky box and so bugs don't get into them in a garage or basement, clothes, small items, etc. They're nice and thick, not flimsy, so they're also great freezer bags - for example, we had a non resealable bag of frozen fish sticks and this was perfect to avoid freezer burn. I am now on my third box!

Nice large size, great for storing my yarn stash. Could come in handy for other items as well.
