Well, it is more nostalgic for the parents that actually were born during the time with Dance Revolution DDR was a thing. Though, it is a great way to introduce the new generation to what we use to play when we were kids! Very interactive toy for the family.Of course, you pay for what you get, the mat quality is very basic, good enough for the kids. Though they have a limited amount of "tunes," gets a little repetitive over time.I wish they were actually "songs" instead of "tunes" but, overall SHE LOVES IT!

This was a cute gift. Our granddaughter loved it. I gave it 3 stars because it is much smaller than repressed in the picture. The reference with family playing is way off. It would make a cute birthday gift for friends but not really a family game.

I gave this to my 12 year old low end autistic grandchild and his 10yr old normal sister. They both love it for different reasons. Zander loves to watch the lights and will come up and push the button adn just stay fo the ceiling light show. His sister Connie does the dance routines and has lots of laugh with Mom and DadOnly bad thing is it moves.
