Great alternative!
If you are looking for a light box but don’t want to spend your entire paycheck this is what you want! Toss the sand and use it as is. Our 7yr old Autistic son loves it! And our 2yr old daughter. Works with all the transparent toys out there for “actual” sensory light boxes and we even stack and use our magnatiles on it too. Easy to use! Would recommend.

Everyone loves it!
Got this for my 6-year old granddaughter and the teenagers ended up taking it over...lol. Everyone, adults included, have a lot of fun with this. Be aware that it can make a mess. The sand is loose on the top so the kids can't get too wild.

Good
The media could not be loaded. Good value for the price! Plug in rather than battery. It's fun with magnet blocks, the puzzle cubes and gear set pictured, the sand it came with, and so much more! I have 8, 6, and 2 yr olds kids, and they are enjoying this! It's a great addition to our homeschool activity box line up.

Fun for all ages
This light table is perfect if you don't have a lot of space money. I can do anything I want to do on a giant light table on this one, just is a all form. We have found all kinds of fun activities to do with the light table and it is holding up beautifully!

Works great!
I wasn't sure how the quality would be based on the lower price, but is is great for my son's play. We put magnitiles on it and love watching it light up. The only thing that I would change is the charger, you have to use a USB, and it isn't always easy to find a place to plug it in and use at the same time.
