Surprisingly effective and very easy to adjust on the fly when you need a little more support for work or a little less when you might be stopping for lunch. This product is a great value for the money even at full price. But of course, even better when it’s on sale.

I have spondylolisthesis and arthritis in my lumbar spine. Severe pain on a daily basis (some days worse than others). I wear this when I need to lift grandbabies, do physical labor (clean the house), or go walking. It helps to support my back and deter the pain for the time that I am wearing it. The difference in the non-elasticity is helping so much more than the other elasticized belts I've worn in the past. It is not at all bulky (cannot really be seen under a shirt) or uncomfortable (for the most part). By experience, you should wear it directly on the skin. I tried putting it over a t-shirt, and the belt will not stay in place. Next to your skin, it stays in place pretty well. It is good for women with a smaller waist than hips, because you can situate it on your waist and hips to be smaller at the top, unlike other belts I've used in the past. The only issue I have is that it curls or creases where it sits on my low torso (bending over or sitting causes it). So, it is permanently out of shape in that regard. It still does the job though. The price is so good, I will plan on buying one each year.

It's hard to review this after having it for such a short time. It was recommended by my back surgeon. It seems to work pretty easily and it does help me when I'm going to do jobs that are a little heavier than normal.

I love how easy it is to adjust thruout the day. A little pull of the cord and you're good to go! And, to keep from using it constantly, which can be unhealthy, I release the cords and let my back do the work for a while. This has helped my sciatica, pelvic misalignment, and si joint symptoms (ie, loads of back pain). This brand was loaned to me by chiroractor, had to get one for keeps. It feels durable, the strings feel like they'll last a while. But, I will say the older one I borrowed felt a bit used....still worked its wonders and my guess is that one had some miles on it. Never worn a brace like this before and have no issues hiding under clothes.

Bought this for my wife who has severe disc problems in her back. She loves it. It relieves her pain almost immediately. Easy to put on and easy to tighten up. Very sturdy product. Well worth the money.

I ordered this product based on recommendation from my doctor. Based on the size chart I was between two sizes and the doctor said the product runs small. When I received the belt I decided it was too big and ordered the smaller of the two sizes that were listed for my measured waist size and returned the first ordered product. I purchase online through Amazon ALL the time. With online sales there are times when things just don't work out, that is why Amazon Prime takes things back free and seamlessly. THIS VENDOR DOES NOT!!!!! I was charged for shipping AND a restocking fee of nearly 30%. This is OUTRAGEOUS. If this vendor wants to sell on Amazon then they should follow the accepted Amazon process. I think you can already tell, I'm satisfied with the product, but the vendor is going to punish you for purchasing from them. Stop, do not purchase from this vendor unless you are COMPLETELY certain that the size you ordered is going to work for you.

I have a very expensive Aspen back brace I use when I'm in extreme pain. This one is great for days when the pain isn't as intense. Highly adjustabe and comfortable with Aspen's quality.
