The build quality is really good as with other Hydro Flask products. However, it will not keep the foot hot at all. You can immediately feel the jar getting hot from the outside as soon as you put the food in it. This is a clear indication that the heat is slipping out. I always end-up eating the food cold. And you cannot use it in the microwave. So, if you're planning on taking it to work or camping, this is not the product for you. I wish I can return it. But I have already used it. Wasted my money on this.

It stopped keep food hot after 1,5 months of using. After 4 hours food is even not warm already!

I was worried to take warm food to work because if it got cold i wouldn't want to eat it. But I decided to just try it and was very happy with this container. I put it my lunch bag that suppose to keep food cold or warm and when i took it after 6 hours the outside was warm and the food was still warm inside. Then i tried it without the lunch bag and the food was still warm but the outside wasn't as warm. So I am happy with the results so now I will be using this to finally take warm food to work.

Ich habe mir das Produkt gekauft, da meine Freundin mir es für die Schule empfohlen hatte. Die Lieferung erfolgte über Amazon UK! das Paket lag am Zoll, bevor es dann endlich ankam. Der erste Eindruck ist zwar ganz okay, aber für den Preis erwarte ich neben der Qualität auch ein faires Unternehmen, statt Billgproduktion in Fernost, und dann kostet das Teil noch 50€. Viele einheimische Marken / Unternehmen lassen es im Inland qualitativ hochwertig produzieren und können es sogar trotzdem für 20/25€ anbieten ( z.b. Zwilling aus Solingen) Geht definitiv wieder zurück. Tut mir zwar leid für die lange Reise, aber vielleicht hilft meine Erfahrung ja jemanden anderen nachhaltiger/ bewusster zu kaufen.

This was the 2nd pot we tried for my daughter’s lunchbox. It’s packed at 7.30am for a 12.30pm lunch. The food was cold by lunchtime and worse than our previous pot whose seal had failed - despite being twice the price it performed half as well. It was obvious this would happen because we could feel heat on the exterior in a metal band near the lid which leaked heat out of the pot. Gutted to have ignored the negative reviews here. I can only assume the other reviewers were using it in warmer weather and had shorter storage times. If you need up to 7 hours don’t buy this - buy a Stanley which provided piping hot lunch after 5 hours (claims up to 7)!
