Yes. I have 2 - 23 inches monitors, plus books. Must be like 30+ pounds for me

it's a deep and rich brown, so dark it almost looks black.....

i have a 32 inch curved monitor and 2 27 inch monitors and a xboxone on can i fit all of that on the desk ?

I bought this for my son he has an Xbox One, it does barely fit on one of the bookshelves.... it actually hangs off a bit but it works for him..... I think if you put a monitor on each side and one in the corner you'll be okay I don't really know how to measure a curved monitor but I think you'll be okay with a 32in and two 27-inch monitors.... it would be tight but I think you can make it work, hope this helps.... if you don't want it to be tight then get a bigger one

Can the desk be set up in mirror image (shelves on left)?

No only right side. Its a great desk for small space. Works great for me work at home.
