- 2.BATTERY: This electric trailer brakes kit is run by a 12 volt 5 amp 40 minutes Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery for two wheels.
- 3.INSTALLATION: Breakaway system installs on your trailer and breakaway switch installs on your trailer's frame. Not include screws.
- 4.EASY TO USE: Breakaway system activates your trailer's electric brakes if the trailer disconnects from the tow vehicle. Activates trailers brakes upon separation from tow vehicle immediately to ensure a safe stop of the trailer.
- 5.Note: How to test if it's wired correctly to engage the breaks when you pull the key? Jack a wheel up and spin it, if wired right the tire will spin. Pull the key out of the break-away switch and see if the tire spins or stops (this should engage the breaks). A breakaway system is required by law in most states for trailers that are equipped with electric brakes .

Just need to add what the PURPLE WIRE IS FOR?Nice design, like the one cable with the plug, like the LI battery, just need to add direction for purple wire.Emailed the seller, no answer still.I’ll update if I hear from seller so y’all will know what to do with the PURPLE WIRE.
