It is a solid, heavy duty, band that is going to last a good long time. I'm quite pleased with the purchase. However, there is one small issue... small as in about 1/4 inch. The strap with the buckle turns out to be 1/4 inch shorter than the original strap. This means I need to wear the watch one stop more open - and the loose end of the strap doesn't always stay in the keeper.
