Q: How should these hmes be stored after each use? is a ziploc bag sufficient?

They're only good for 7 days after the first use. I keep mine installed the full 7 days then discard. Since your breath is full of moisture, so is the sponge and I would recommend a paper box or bag so the sponge won't mildew like it can fully enclosed in plastic.

Hello, This is a single use device and no you should not "moisten" the device for more moisture.

Q: Has anyone compared these against the ones sold by HDM (maker of the z1 and z2 travel cpap)? These look identical, but are quite a bit cheaper.
