Just what I was looking for! It sits on the side of the pool. The base must be filled with water or sand to weight it down. It is similar to the little kid plastic outdoor toys - Playskool maybe? Brilliant color - I got the bright blue. The shipping was Amazon fast. Arrived with no damage. Care was taken in packaging so everything was well protected.Easy to put together. Takes less than 5 minutes. Came with two basketballs of quality similar to full size basketballs (not plastic). Came with a hand pump that easily pumped up the balls. Fun for all ages!

Our boys love this addition to our pool this summer and it has held up to multiple kids shooting at it. It’s so durable and when filled with water it’s hard to budge. It was very easy to put together. Its color blue is vibrant and rust resistant. The cost of other basketball goals like this one was very high in price as this one is affordable. We’ve had it for about a month and a half and it hasn’t aged in color at all. The age of kids that have used this are age range 5-15 years old. Ages 5 and up.

Awesome Pool Game – Easy Setup & Tons of FunThis GoSports Splash Hoop PRO has been a hit in our pool! It gets used all the time — seriously, every time the kids are swimming, this thing is in play. This is a very well designed toy. But it is a toy, and if you want to play "real basketball" in a pool, then buy a real basketball goal and mount it yourself. The balls for this set are just a little smaller than volleyballs (as I said, it is a toy), and the rim is roughly twice the diameter of one of the balls (so, not as large as a real basketball goal). The unit is very easy to put together and take apart, very sturdy (for a toy) and a lot of fun to play with. I've had mine outside for one full summer season and it has held up very well. (I'm not sure what I'll do when the net eventually wears out, since I'm pretty sure it is not regulation size). When filled with water, the base is stable, though I suspect that a teenager hanging on the rim might either break the heavy plastic rim or pull the whole thing into the pool. But routine shots and dunks don't move the base at all. At the end of the season you can tip the whole thing on its side and drain it, pull the base and backboard apart, and store it in a garage. This is by far the best pool basketball toy I have seen and I would not hesitate to buy it again, should this one ever need replacing.

My husband and our grandkids love the pool basketball hoop. They have spent lots of time shooting balls to see who can make the most baskets!The hoop and balls are well made and very sturdy.

Easy - as described - sturdy - tons of fun

I bought mine 5 years ago! Live in Florida so it’s outside for 8 months a year! After five years I can tell you this is a great product! I bought a set of 4 more balls (total of 6 now) that was a stroke of genius! Every party at our house ends up in pool with every loving the hoop! It’s great fun! Has held up very well!
