## Overview

Fermcap-S Foam Inhibitor is a 0.5 oz. solution designed to enhance the bitterness of your beer by approximately 10%. Ideal for brewers using a carboy for primary fermentation, this easy-to-use product ensures a smoother brewing process and a more refined flavor profile.

## Description

Prevent boil overs on the hot side, add 2 drops per gallon for a nice rolling boil. On the cold side, fermcap keeps the Krause in your fermenter to 1/2". in a 6 gallon carboy there is no need for blow off tubing when you use this product. Use only two drops per gallon at the start of fermentation. If you add fermcap during the boil you do not need to add it again in your fermenter.

It amazes me how little of this is needed to prevent boil over or krausen. In a 5-gallon batch it only takes 3-4 tiny drops. It’s also very useful in making yeast starters so that your Erlenmeyer flask doesn’t overflow.
