Did absolutely nothing.....
Put these up in spots where I'd see the occasional moth, did absolutely nothing to deter them.Smell was very weak, I'd even sanded them down, no help.Found moths right next to them in the clothes closet, a joke.Get yourself some traps and premium grade lavender bags, problem solved.

I recommend it, just be patient as it takes time ...
Battling moths is no fun- these cedar hanging blocks seem to be working, though! I wasn't sure if it would really make a difference, but I haven't seen a moth in quite a while. I recommend it, just be patient as it takes time for the moth life cycle to stop.

China/USA, natural vs sparkle?
Excellent smell, but some discrepancies. The package says made in China but it also says Made in the USA, USDA cleared, hundred percent natural. Makes it seem a little suspect. Also there's a weird Sparkle to a bunch of the wood, which makes me think they put something on the cedar itself. On the other hand it's an excellent value especially compared to the bigger assortments that usually tiny pieces of wood. Hope it works to repel moths!

This is what I needed!😊
These are just what I was looking for ! 😊They smell great! Quality all the way !Great job! I didn’t bother to hang them up. Instead decided to just lay them around theclosets! LOVE the tips you gave on sandingto keep the cedar smell fresh and yes I am going to add them to my linens and dressers too! Way better than the ones I purchased at the store. 😊

Cheap, poor workmanship, won’t buy again.
Cheap. You do have to put the screw hook into the cedar block. Not all the holes are drilled straight. As you can see in my last photo when I screwed one hook in I broke the wood and had to glue it back. In photo 2 you can see there was some kind of white filaments on the blocks. I don’t know what they are. I don’t know what they are for. I don’t know if they’re good or bad. I wiped them off all of the blocks. In photo one you see that the manufactures packaging was terrible. The inner bag that held the cedar blocks was open so everything was sticky. And the manufactures box was broken. Good thing the Amazon shipment was in a padded envelope.

not bad for the price!
i had some thick ones decades ago & with all my moving around idk where they ended up - i figured i'd never be able to afford any ever again LOL the odor isn't meant to be overpowering, like mothballs are, & it takes time for the smell to permeate the area you're trying to rid of moths - here in HI we get moths the size of bats! there's enough of them that i put some on my closets & some i hung near my curtains & i even put one in the bathroom! i think they're definitely worth the money.

You get what you pay for.
Mine arrived with everything advertised. The wood had a good cedar smell but was dusty... no "fiber glass" that I could tell (referring to someone else's review) but dusty. I gave them a wash just in case. The metal hangers had some sticky grime on them so I had to clean those too. Overall seems like a good "bang for buck" situation. Far cheaper than other cedar packages I've seen so you get what you pay for.

Must science behind it? They work!
I placed one between about every 5 or 10 items in my closet. I haven't seen a moth since the day I hung these up. I'd say they work phenomenally.
