Highly recommend. As others have mentioned it’s a unique take on kimchi flavor and texture but it’s immediately delicious and appealing in whatever application you’d want to use kimchi. Not as spicy as some kimchi so you can eat it in larger quantity as a main meal ingredient instead of as a garnish. The pouches are a perfect format for portions (one packet is good for a generous serving or 2-3 regular portions) while keeping the rest fresh for a long time, unlike jarred kimchi where I inevitably throw away much of the jar when it has been opened too long between uses. Super easy at-work lunch meal is a package of this kimchi opened on top of a an individual package of microwaved sticky rice. No refrigeration or ice pack needed, just toss a package of rice and a package of kimchi and a pair of chopsticks in your lunch bag and go.

The package size is perfect. It had a little crunch and the seasoning was really good.

product is overall very convenient, being individual serving packs. serving size is a bit small though, would say its about 3-4 bites. I think this particular kimchi is more suited for westerners, as it tasted more like ketchup than kimchi. I don't know how to describe it other than that, haha. It's not an authentic kimchi taste.

This is the best kimchi I have ever purchased as per an online seller! I usually go to a store to buy. It’s not my first purchase and won’t be my last. It’s delicious and so good for your body! The right amount of fermentation and spices! Its packaging is the perfect amount for each serving. I love that it comes in a box to hold packages and is very sturdy. The texture is perfect! Very fresh and smells amazing!

Okay, I love Korean Kimchi. I have tried a lot of different brands. This is the best I have found. The package size is perfect for a side to a lunch sandwich. Not overly spicy. Good flavor for a commercial brand. Nothing beats homemade Kimchi, but it is such a process to make. No refrigeration required, shelf stable product. Good packaging, nothing to dent or jars to break in transit. It had a little crunch and the seasoning was really good. (Could have been a little hotter but that's solvable). For the quality, convenience and flavor I will keep this on hand. So glad I found this product.

I’m a Kimchi eating fool, and when I tell you this Kimchi directly from South Korea is good, I am lying because it’s great! Very well packaged just like tuna fish in those vacuum sealed packs. Outstanding taste and the actual Kimchi looks like it was made yesterday! Fresh!

I can't fault it because its not my kimchi-cup-of-tea so to speak, but its much different than American made kimchi's, and completely unlike any kimchi I've had in Asia (not Korea, haven't been there). I was excited to try this because its been mentioned by several influencers who have lived and do a lot of content from Korea, but I'm pretty disappointed in it. There is absolutely no heat to this, its more like red bell pepper paste mixed with napa cabbage. While its fresh, has great texture and is conveniently packaged in small pouches, it lacks the punch and flavor I really look for in a kimchi.

Note that it contains sugar, and that it is shelf-stable which normally means that it was pasteurized and doesn't contain live cultures. To be alive, it will be found in the refrigerated section of stores, which slows the fermentation to keep it fresh and crunchy. Since I bought this, I have gone to a store and bought refrigerated, which tastes fresher. This is good for what it is, a shelf-stable, tasty product. I missed that it contains added sugar or I wouldn't have purchased it.

My first time trying kimchi. I have nothing to compare it to but I know I like it a lot. The price of this was high considering the ingredients used, but it is nice to get the idea on taste. I liked it enough that I've decided to find a recipe and make my own. It was well worth the try for sure. Perfect crunchiness and spice for my tastes.

Honestly, I never thought kimchi would taste this good. The flavor is perfectly balanced — tangy, slightly spicy, and full of umami. It doesn’t feel overly salty or sour like some brands I’ve tried before. I started adding it to rice, eggs, and even sandwiches, and it instantly elevates the meal. It also feels light and gut-friendly, which is a great bonus.
