This step is used as a mid-step to a camper van sliding side door. It is very sturdy and that makes it heavy for its size but that weight gives a solid footing while entering and exiting the van. It folds flat allowing for convenient storing in the van. The cost seems high for a step but is the cheaper alternative to a permanent under van fold-out step.

2nd one we've purchased! These are super sturdy, adjustable, and very easy to use. I have arthritis so normally the push button adjustable things like tables and chairs are super hard to use. These are not at all. They are height adjustable a bit so that's helpful. We use one for an extra step between our RV stairs and the ground so we don't tumble out and I use a 2nd one to get up on the super high seat in our RV U shaped table since I'm so short. It must be made for super tall people. Would work great for kids too. We are rather large sized people and with this stool I do not worry it will collapse under us. We had a plastic one that felt sturdy, but it collapsed trying to get my MIL up into the truck and it injured her leg pretty badly needing multiple stitches so at least with this one that is NOT a worry at all.

I bought two adjustable step stools and love how safe and sturdy they feel. The ad says 330 lbs capacity, but the literature insert says 1000 lbs in a lab test. I probably won't load it with more than 350 or 400 lbs. The platform/step is quite sturdy -- no bending at all when I step on it (I'm 180 lbs). With the legs splayed out when opened, this step stool is very stable when on an even/level surface. The legs are a bit difficult to unfold/fold, which is actually good because if the locking button ever fails, the legs won't easily move. Overall, a very good step stool.

Seams to be heavy duty, very sturdy, small enough to fit anywhere. I bought it so that I could get up into my bed easily while pregnant. I have a high bed and this stool fits perfectly in front to my bedside table without me bumping into it by accident. And it will slide under the bed perfectly too. I like the option of folding the legs for storage and that the legs have 3 different lengths. I can see myself using this well after I'm not heavy!
