They even looked great in the box when I got them. However, upon trying them on, the fit was not quite right in the leg. I am 5'4" and they are about 1/2" to 1" too tall - kind of fit right at my kneecap instead of just below. Also, the calf is too wide. There was a significant gap all the way around my leg, making me look as if I was a little girl trying on my mother's boots. I was so disappointed because I've been looking forever for the perfect boot and thought I finally found them.
